Romany & gypsy are we tolerant in Europe ?

^ we're not innocent of using slaves either.
Plenty of Brits are still coming to Australia and enjoying the benefits of our welfare system, or getting caught up in our legal system. Any generalisations about the 'nature' or inherent social value of ethnic groups is just mythology.
Societies need outsiders in order to self define, it seems.
What's wrong with being nomadic?
Is nobody on this forum living in squalid poverty?
And most bluelighters have spotless criminal records, I'm sure.
Judging people on that kind of crap is like a dog eating it's own shit; it makes no sense, and it's pretty repulsive to watch.

He's been pretty vocal about the teatment of Aboriginals.

If a society treats you like dirt is it any wonder that you respond to that by taking what you can get.
 
being forced to live in a ghetto and denied education means that you don't have the tools to operate within traditional society, thus you have to look for alternative ways of surviving like stealing, begging etc
 
its like when people were saying blacks are stupid because they can't read and write. But how are you going to learn to read and write when your picking cotton 16 hours a day from age 5!!
 
their society is also a bit against being integrated as well... ive seen whole communities of roma people plain out refuse the aid/chances they are given, be it education, healtcare and whatnot. and this was coming from social workers that were themselves roma.
for change to come, things have to start somewhere...

Maybe they saw it as an attempt to force them to conform to the expectations of a society and a way of life incompatible with their culture?

I fucking have major issues with Romany gypsies. They never ever have legit streams of income. We should should actively refuse them entry to the UK.....unless they have some skills that the country is lacking. We don't need fucking roses or shitey flashy lights or shit badly made toys.

The only skills they bring are in pick pocketing and ATM fraud / card skimming which Im quite happy not to encourage by opening the UKs doors to them.

I ve seem them up here in Jockland at some events, always hanging about in large groups with their bum bags full of wallets and iphiones.....

Fuck em.

hundreds of years of oppression is going to give you a tad of a complex.... the media portrayal is a bit like what the nazi's did to the jews. Stories about them stealing good aryan children and what not...

like that irish family that had their kid taken off them because it didn't look right. Everyone knows that Prince Harry is really the kid of that james hewit fella, but they didn't take him into care 8(
 
The fact the gypsies have to resort to "crime" to survive is merely a result of the historical enclosure and appropriation of the land by the ruling classes. Their way of life is not "allowed" under capitalism so they have to do what they can to survive. No wonder they are perceived as aggressive and criminal, anyone would resort to criminality if that was their only means of survival. And of course their ways of living are passed from generation to generation, just like in any other social group.

quite fookin true.... forced into ghetto's and victimised, so that people don't realise that the real robbery is being perpetrated by the ruling classes. If you thinks gypsies are going to steal your sandwich, you won't notice the government stealing your life and freedom.
