Big storm coming for the UK..?

Yep, the gale force winds appear to be limbering up down here in southampton. That said its all gone pretty quiet the last half hour or so.
 
I'm a stones throw (a literal stones throw) from the actual South coast itself. Nothing but very light drizzle
 
I'm in Gloucestershire at the moment just bit of rain and light wind no sign of a proper storm yet. Luckily got tomorrow off work so if it does get bad at least I'll be at home
 
Any of you listen to the radio today?
They're making it seem like it's the end of the world or something, huge atlantic butt fuck of a storm coming straight at us with tornados very high winds heavy rain and lightning...



Not even a fucking breeze. I bet it won't even rain tonight.
 
Raining quite heavy now but not torrential, slight wind but Just seems like normal October weather. storm my ass
 
TBH i all give a toss about is getting wet when i go n score tomora , if it is a fuk off storm i'll have to go the guy that does deliveries his gear is good but he charges more .

What if the guy who delivers get blown away before he gets to you? Or he might be scared of rain too then your fucked

As the nutcase I am, I just had a walk to the actual coast and wind is finally beginning to come in strong. I havent heard the wind whistle like. That in a long time. Now my car is rocking side to side maybe I shuld stop writing this n move

it was on red warning and they were expecting the worst
and now bbc are saying its only "amber warning", meaning fast winds and rain only
now the warning is apparently yellow? lol

Give the weather forecasters a chance. They have predicted it to hit the south west at about midnight.

I thinks its a bit too early to dismiss it yet
 
still nothing here but rain and light wind lets just face it our weather is fuckin boring
 
It's 2am now, and storm st Jude should be in it's peak.

I've been up and down the south west coast, and currently: light drizzle, mild wind.
