I've been a pretty consistent abuser of Hydrocodone for over 5 years. I managed to never let it get out of control too badly though, and my typical usage was a single 30 - 50 mg dose per day. That went on for years, until earlier this year my Norco got replaced with Roxi's. For about 4 months now, I've daily been taking 60-120 mg of Roxi's, along with 20-40 mg of Oxycontin OP's throughout the day. Over the years there have been times where I've had to come off of Hydrocodone for a few days, and while it wasn't fun, it wasn't really that bad. During those days I wouldn't feel any w/d symptoms for at least 36 hours. I'm now trying to come off of the Roxi's, and finding it a much more difficult process
. I thought I'd be able to get through this by taking 20 mg OP in the morning, and 20 mg at night, but that is proving to not help much. After just 6 hours of not taking anything, the withdrawal symptoms are setting in and I'm sure they will only escalate from here.
Any advice or suggestions to make this as smooth as possible? I expect sleep will be really difficult, especially without any benzos. I have enough OP's to take 2 per day (20mg x2) until I'm able to get a refill again. There is a part of me that thinks it is stupid to go through this only to start the cycle again once I get more Roxi's, but if I'm being realistic I know that's likely what will happen.
Mods I wasn't sure if this should go here or TDS, so please move if necessary.
