you should've eaten the porridge after the joint Brimz...

Plenty of milk and sugar %)

Anyone else noticed a huge rise in these Rita Ora style looking wenches going around?
I aint sure where this fashion trend has come from but I approve, damn fine imo.

Shame they all seem to be hooked with up some Dappy looking guys though (Dappy as in N-Dubz)
Don't think me street urchin look will cut it with 'em :(

Where do you get those T Shirts Snolls ?

Ooh, do you wanna get matching ones? ;) Women love lesbian men.

That has to be the most lesbian-y t-shirt I've ever seen :D

Got my flu jab and didn't pass out! Got GTA V and failed to buy an HDMI cable. Bah. And I will have to research this 'Rita Ora' you speak of, Bodda. Isn't she a gay or something? Or is that Jessie J? Or both? =D

edit: Lol @ SHM's 'lesbian cuisine' comment.

I heard Rita Ora & Jessie J were both lesbians but I later learned there is a video of Rita Ora which proves otherwise.

Green taxes are a sham, the whole racket of government grants for research is what's driving the global warming industry, that's what it is, an industry, a huge business, researchers can throw in some key words like "man-made climate change" and automatically their studies get attention and further funding

100% correct. and the best part is, they don't even have to fiddle empirical evidence, as it's all done by computer models. shit in = shit out, etc

i was talking about Ed Milliband's policy to freeze energy bills BHM. None of that other stuff you mentioned. hAvent got time to digest all that atm as off to see my KW.

my point was that ed milliband was the guy who brought in the green taxes, currently they amount to 10% of household energy bills and continuing to rise. also, it was shown less than 24hrs after he said it that price freezes arent worth shit, the companies will either raise prices beforehand (as they are doing now), raise them afterwards or as seems likely - do both. please dont fall so easily for this muppet's rhetoric, it will stand for precisely nothing to the man in the street

Shit, don't mention fackin energy bills :(
Got a letter today from Scottish power saying as I am on a mater I am going to have to pay a extra £100 a year & from November 15th they will no longer be doing emergency credit.

I nearly fell over reading that damn thing, I pay through the nose atm, these goddamn green hippy people have really pissed me off, I blame these left wing, tree hugging hippy types for my extra charges & no emergency credit.

Scottish Power huh, I knew Hadrian's Wall was there for a reason.

OK good points, but at least he is trying something, and that something is clearly putting a lot of pressure on the Tories. Something has to be done about it, it could very easily loose them the next election if they dont. It's obscene that these companies are making billions of pounds of profits, whilst there are households that have to choose between heating or food at the same time as these companies are raking in the billions.

Stories are emerging that people have been living for 3 and a half years without electric or gas as they simply cannot afford the bills, or the re-connection charges. Its like theyve time travelled back a hundred years.

Even John Major spoke up about this, just yesterday. I actually like John Major, not as a PM, he was never really Prime Minister material, and he was an embarrasingly dull PM, but as a fuckin clever and decent man (for a Tory) he's allways worth listening to. He talks a lot of sense.

Did it say how they survive?
Times before I've lived my candle light for a few days & cooked on a openfire in the garden but only for a few days at a time, I can't imagine years of it.

yes, he lived on sandwiches, poured a kettle of cold water over himself in the shower, and treated himself to fish and chips once a week. He also visited his mother once a week and took a shower there, but was too embarrassed/ashamed to tell her about the predicament he was in.

When i lived in a bedsit an old man in one of the rooms couldnt afford to keep his electric meter topped up. He used to sit out in the public hallways. Id have felt much more inclined to help him, but for the fact that he was spending nearly all his money on cigarettes. :sus:

yeah you tap into the street lights power source - you loop the meters - you start chopping down the adventure play grounds/climbing frames and burning them to stay warm / cook etc.

The thing about this post that really annoys me is - the local bodies would have already have spent a few millions of pounds to develop a seat which are too uncomfortable to sit on for more than ten minutes. The Seating is designed to move those people along :(. (MDB not aimed at you)

I wouldn't be too hasty to condemn people for maintaining their vices and neglecting their wellbeing, even in what might seem to be extreme or absurd circumstances. It's an easy mindset to fall into when you've given up hope.

Yeah, I've noticed that about seating in pretty much every public area in British cities.

Libraries are pretty much the only place for these people to go, and they're either closing or seeing their opening hours slashed in the wake of council cuts.

My God, are we living in England or some 5th world country.
My heart feels for these kinda people, really should have cut his baccy habit down though.

Messing with meters is more easy said that done with these news ones, electricity tends to be very unforgiving.
When we were younger & used to chill in an empty factory my mate was an electrician & decided to try & get us more power in the place, he stuck a wire in he was sure was dead, turns out he was wrong. A huge bang like a shotgun went off & a huge spark shot out, que much screaming of bad words & people jumping for their life onto the floor or behind anything to cover 'ya ass.

I had to laugh at chopping down the kids playground though =D

well my only 'excuse' is that i was in my early 20s at that point and everything was a bit more black and white at that point.

wow, still waters, eh? ;)

me and bodda both habitually rewired our electric meters to deactivate the cut off i.e stop the meter turning off your leccy. ran those fuckers into huge debt, just had to avoid the metermen seeing your handiwork. ridiculously simple, a matter of one wire shorting across two points beneath the meter, was dodgy at times though. however, risking electrocution and burning to death in our beds was, at the time, the preferable option to slowly freezing to death in places where we had no gas to use as an alternative source of heat
