Also cheap vodka > super t/special brew etc. When i lived in a hostel years back \about half the inmates weree queing up outside co-op at 8am to buy all the white ace they had in stock. My brother used to (n still does) drink white cider too, cant stand the stuff

Surprisingly, I never got the smile discount either! Watch yourself though. It's hard to go back to normal drinks once you get a taste for that stuff, as you know. Even spirits don't seem to do it for me when I'm drinking super strength. It's that glow.

Oh, I know. Once I went over to tramp strength like tennants, and super skol, (avoided spesh) I found it hard to drink normal again. My reasoning being that,if I was only going to have one can, it may aswell be a strong one. Then one became two, and so on and so on.

Polish lager does know where its at when it comes to taste for strength though.

I'm gonna come back off the Venlafaxine despite the fact that I know it has been of benefit, the stuff is poisoning me.

I've taken Amitriptyline before but only in low doses, I'm hoping being a trycyclic I won't have as many side effects as other have been quite benign but unfortunately ineffective.

I got offered the Codeine instead of the 30/500s or the MST SR, which I told him I wasn't keen on having for the reasons already mentioned, paracetamol has never had much benefit for me anyway and CWE isn't often practical.

Special Brew was a favourite of mine along with Duvel, I regard such beverages as healthy since they decrease the amount of whiskey consumed ....a bit

venlafaxine, is that the AD they give you when you go to detox? Theres one they give out round here when you go to residential detox, cannae remember the name though.

I used to be on sertraline, but i stopped taking them 3/4 weeks back, cause i dont think they were helping and i dont need more shit fucking with my brain than i already take! Felt fine coming off them and since too, for alot of people the benefits of antidepressants are placebo/psychological, hope ya alright coming off them ones some have some dodgy WD symtoms

Do you mean Naltrexone? don't know much about it at all and had to look it up to spell it !

I had been on Venlafaxine until the end of last year at a higher dose but decided to come off for various reasons, prior to that I tried lots of other ADs that either made me very ill, did nothing or made symptoms worse.

I'm no big fan of ADs but they seem to help me a bit, I used to cycle up and down but since a nasty episode a few years ago symptoms of depression have been very persistent and the Venlafaxine definitely holds off the darkness more so than any other AD I've used.

I'm keen to get to a place where I don't need them, I'm hoping the Amiltriptyline will provide that buffer but with less side effects, my social anxiety and loss of self confidence has taken a turn for the worse, if I could I'd never leave the house TBH.

On a brighter note I can confirm that I must be shite at CWE despite plenty of practice, I'd normally use 8 30/500s but I thing the 4 30mg Codeine tablets I took earlier were stronger, I had to go grab some antihistamine.

Nah, there was an antidepressant they used to prescribe at detox in bradford, it was def an AD, i think it was venlafaxine actually. Fuck knows why theyd give clucking people that!

God, last time i did codeine, it felt like my face was on fire, complete agony! That 25 mins waiting for the antihistamine was torture, then the itching calmed to an enjoyable level

I haven't read the above, it has a much shorter half life than most ADs, the crack of ADs which is partly why is so brutal to come off of. Like a lot of those substances different doses produce different effects and unsurprisingly as it's close to Tramadol is does effect opioid receptors so I guess that's the theory.

I have a long term skin condition so I have a high tolerance to itching, I shan't be taking loads of them at once as I need them for pain but it I was surprised at how strong the 120mg was.

First post in a while, being on all these meds made me think of this place again!

2x per day, taken together in the afternoon.

1 in the morning, 1 in the evening.

Lyrica/Pregabalin is definitely recreational, I used to feel a nice, mellow buzz off them to begin with. But now I have too high a tolerance from taking them for a year+ to feel much. Although if I take 2 or 3 at once its kind of like being mildly stoned.

Cannot function without these meds. One missed dose of Lamotrigine and I am in a whole world of pain insanity. They have saved my life for sure.

Inso, how much WD do you get from that dose of Lyrica? How quickly does the WD start, and how long does it last?

I have no idea, I have never stopped taking it for the last year that I have been on it. Lately I have been trying to taper off to see if it still helping since I am sick of the weight gain (weed-like hunger all the time). So as the doctor suggested I am skipping one dose every other day, and have noticed no withdrawal effect with 24 hours off. But as I say never gone longer that that so not sure yet.
