Syrian civil war thread

but i know russia and syria are tight, russia have provided an insane ammount of support over the years and Its likely any syrian chemical weapons have russian trademarks on

BTW I'm on suboxone also and was clucking like a chicken for 48 damn hours
First off, the Syrian government doesn't have chemical weapons. The rebels do.

Second off, clucking for 48 hours... uhh hm???

Hey! DOB, who's the real criminals here. The corrupt regime, the religious (literal) heart-eating fanatics [yeah these rebels are literally EATING the hearts of Syrian soldiers as a show, or the military agenda of the US for some unforeseen outcome. Hint: They all are, and we need to vote not to support this behavior. China and Russia have just sent ships near Syria... we're gonna fucking start WW3, and heres proof of that statement about the ships http://everything-pr.com/us-russia-and-china-increase-naval-presence-off-syria/245690/

oh and the rebels the US supports, Al Nusra, are an Al-Qaeda front and they have admitted to the chemical weapons attack, provided to them by a Saudi. My theory? THe rebels say it was an accident to save face, the Saudi that gave the weapons made a deal with the US and this chemical weapons attack? An american idea. eg. I mean the US has false flagged Syria to start a larger war with the middle eastern region, where Israel will ally with us and we will go to war with Iran as well.
Edit: Oh yeah, and for WHAT outcome? What outcome is the purpose of this guys? Please speculate with me.

I didn't think that the situation would go this far. Its getting crazy over there. Obama, should never have opened his mouth. He'll be eating crow or raising hell on earth. Can you imagine if those ships start lighting up one another. Even with a US carrier there aircraft will be ineffective, they'll be lucky to get airborne, ships will be sunk and the carrier will be taking missile hits. There could be a lot of death and destruction.
What's gonna happen is it's gonna be a failed operation, obama will look bad, and americans will vote republicans in 2016 and Reagan will have his 10th term in office. It's crazy how long Reagan has been the president of this country even after he died. Oh and Nixon is still the president too. and George Bush, and Bill Clinton. We're gonna have an endless line of puppets unless something major happens.

Democrats, republicans: Playing the american people to seem like they're so different, when they're really working together to keep their power and income. Basically, they just want to live the good life. I also bet some of the puppet masters behind the scenes actually believe that they're doing a good thing eg. the illuminati working towards a one world order. and who knows, ?maybe? a one world order would be the most peaceful way for the planet to run. That may be the unforeseen consequences I mentioned.

Also you guys, watch that graphic video I posted. It shows the commander of these US supported and armed rebels cutting open a dead soldiers chest, cutting out his liver and heart, then taking a bite of the fresh heart. These deranged monsters are who we're supporting... and why are we supporting them? Well obviously not because of their character or hardships, it's for political motives. Now we'll wait out and see what those motives are but I think it's fairly obvious that it won't turn out good, no matter how hard the illuminati tries to unite the world.

Thanks for the links and the interesting read. The theory of Syrian rebels using chemical weapons is one intriguing scenario but based on tentative media speculation, at that. As for Al Nusra claiming the attack as their own: terrorist/freedom fighting groups like to take credit for bad shit, they're radical like that, and you have to ask yourself, why Saudi Arabia? Their international politics are famously neutral; they're an incredibly rich nation with the oil we so badly need, what could they possibly have to gain from participating in a provocation of the USA, a very close ally? You have to look at your sources; the rebels armed with Saudi Sarin theory did originate in the Russian media, shortly after they gave up outright denying chemical weapons were used, in the face of strong, almost irrefutable evidence from UN weapons inspectors. And besides, these FSA guys are not professional soldiers, for the most part; I very much doubt they have the specialized training to successfully deploy such notoriously messy and indiscriminate weapons.I imagine a professional and well- equipped army may have that training....how many of those are in Syria right now? Also, it's important to note that it was civilian populations that were targeted, not pro-assad forces or territories; if your overthrowing a government, what could be gained by attacking your future subjects, not to mention a valuable recruitment pool? It may interest you to know there are compelling reports that Assad is currently located on a heavily guarded Russian warship with fast access to Moscow (again, tentative speculation); we are living in an age of proxy wars now, after all....

I'm completely in agreement with you about the situation over there now; it's the wild west, with horrific atrocities being reported from all sides. Yes, the country is up for grabs, with many factions out for the prize. Al Nusra are after an Islamic state under sharia law. Jihadists flock to the country by the day; the place is a breeding ground for terrorism, especially in the event of US intervention, which would all but guarantee a boots on the ground situation they seem so keen to avoid. Then you've got the Free Officers Corps, the leadership class of the FSA; well-versed in Assad's brutal methods of government, these guys are hardcore, and doubtlessly have their eyes on government as a millitary junta. This is not a good versus evil conflict; this is what you Americans call a clusterfuck.

Personaly, I honestly believe the deployment of chemical weapons makes sense in the context of the engagement; I mean think about it: Assads holed up somewhere, contemplating a very messy and public execution at the hands of a country who hates him...have you seen the gadaffi death video? It doesn't end well for dictators in that part of the world. He's grasping at straws right now; this is last-stand, scorched- earth time for him; why not roll out the big guns?
Shit, if he can level entire neighbourhoods with tankfire, how is using sarin gas different? It's called shock and awe for a reason.

Of course, I'm probably completely wrong, and you probably are too; all we've got to go on are sketchy reports- the real stuff is gonna be top secret, as I mentioned before. But I know one thing: this isn't about Syria, and it sure as hell isn't about chemical weapons or stopping human rights abuses....I really can't speculate as to "false flag ops", the evidence just isn't there for me, but who knows? I know for a fact the US and UK have enabled terrorist organizations in the past only to have it blow up in their faces, your right there
It's a fucked-up and messy world we're living in, after all.

And yes I was in withdrawals for 48 hours; I lost 2 days of suboxone. Saw your vid, very sick.

I think most of the Western world is sick of this shit. There's been demand from some MP's and senior politician's to hold another vote in the UK. Total fucking bullshit. You voted once, your ass got handed back to you, END. It's amazing really, you can actually see the "hidden hand of power" making its move when it gets this desperate.. like the Irish EU referendum vote, when they went back for a second vote. Incredible stuff. Shows you the desperation of those in control to get things going their way.

I'm really sick of the media coverage of Syria. Once again the majority of the media, especially the BBC, have only been giving a one sided account of this chemical weapons claim. There is no balance. Not once have they ever mentioned the fact that rebels were caught with sarin back in May, by Turkish authorities. It's all so similar to the Iraq war buildup, the Libya buildup. Same media bias. Only after the dust settles does anyone say anything about it. The media is so in bed with the government when it comes to war related issues.. disgraceful.

Really that's totally the truth. I bet you're a fan of Mr. Nigel Farage. He had a good debate with some other's on why the West should not get involved.

The media has just decided to pick a side in this conflict wholeheartedly. When the truth is the rebels are arguably the party responsible for the greater atrocities in this conflict. Each time a band of rebels enters an area they had previously not controlled, they're going around and executing all the people they viewed as collaborators with the regime. It's been massively widespread, go on a site like liveleak or theync and there are tons and tons of videos of rebels executing captured soldiers or civilians.

All this "red line" bullshit. And now all these opinion pieces in the paper about how America needs to attack or risk losing credibility... What has the world come to, like little kids now, even though it's wrong and based on false information, we need to go kill a bunch of people so we don't look weak.

There's no theory, the rebels had the chemical weapons. Now maybe they were controlled by some force (hint hint USA) then that force could have effectively planted this false fla- ahem.. bomb.

http://www.globalresearch.ca/jabhat...nsibility-for-chemical-weapons-attack/5347485
Assad doesnt even have chemical weapons. Do some reading.

In regards to suboxone withdrawals, being an opiate addict must suck. I only use it recreationally.

To the bold: they admit it was an "accident" on that link above.... scoff.... yeah right. Cover up.

US supported rebel commander eats the organs of Syrian soldiers. (GRAPHIC)

Personally, I think the US needs to get involved. These terrorists have crossed the red line that I drew in the sand, about eating organs. That's like not cool. Oh wait the US is giving this guy guns... whoops. NOW I DNT NUNDRSTAN

I think the US entering this war is a bad idea, but why am I supposed to be outraged about that video? It's just battlefield bravado.

bloodshed344,
While I agree with your thesis that we shouldn't go into Syria or have any involvement with the Syrian Rebels, please consider your sources carefully. That is Glenn Beck you're using as a source. I hope you realize that.

^ Well, the story is real at least and has been around for months, but there are about a billion better sources for it.

What's it matter if the source is true? He shows the video, which is the proof itself. I guess he could be lying about who it is. and yeah 23536, "battlefield bravado", well I don't support giving guns to the guy who displays his bravado like this. Like Beck says, America trusts this guy with guns more than the citizens of USA?? It makes no sense.

I disagree with Glenn Beck a lot, but on that video every single word he says is SPOT ON.

The thing that clinched it for me was the rebels executing a 14 year old waiter for supposedly insulting Mohammed. But the human cardiophagy seems to be the thing that really has gotten to people.

Where's that story about the execution of the waiter?

Dude it's Glenn Beck.

The only proof we have that it was Assad, and not the rebels, is John Kerry assuring us that there is no possible way, within a huge, chaotic clusterfuck involving multiple Saudia Arabian/Western supported Sunni factions trying to do the same thing they have been doing forever, which is to attempt to overthrow the Russian/Iranian/Hezbollah supported Shiite/Christrian/Secular ruling party, for anyone other than Assad to possess sarin.

Oh wait...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarin_gas_attack_on_the_Tokyo_subway

Setting up enough nerve gas to kill as many people as they did in Syria would be tough, but I'd bet more than a few bucks there is at least more than one party, other than the current regime, currently active within Syria with that capability.

To play devil's advocate (or something): what if Assad really did use sarin rockets, and what if he intends to continue using them? Would it not be incumbent on the rest of the world to at least hurl some stones at his head?

For Middle East analysis, I keep seeing this journalist, Rula Jebreal, on TV:

This is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She's as close to ideal as I can imagine. It's amazing that she's 39.
