Amazed that nobody went in for Gaston Silva who I think is the best young defender in world football

Nobody from England could sign him as he doesnt have an EU passport
He is the captain of the Uruguay under 20 team that just lost the world cup to France on pens this summer

Fiorentina were supposed to have signed him , but I guess the whole mess with 3rd party ownership fucked that up and the guy reminds me of a young Carvalho

United signed the guy who playes beside him ( Varela) but Gaston is by far a better prospect

When I was a kiddo my dad dragged me to the Delle Alpi to watch Juve-Parma as he had gotten free tickets for the corporate box, that was back in the 90s when Serie A was good, Parma were strong back then and Juve had Vialli and Ravanelli on the pitch at the same time, excellent match that was.

I also remember a derby, went there with my mom and Edgar Davids was playing for Juve, he was one of the first black dudes I've seen in flesh remember being in awe at his hairstyle, the whole sector got tear gassed and some ultra guy shielded both me and my mom with his leather jacket and lead us to safety, wicked experience.

Ozil is in the top 3 of his position in the world mate. Eriksen is nowhere near that. Ozil has something like 90 assists over the last 3 years. He is on the level of Fabregas.

Oscar looks a fantastic bit of business at under £20m but nobody knew how good he was going to be. He could have been another Lucas who although he's been decent has not lived up to his price tag so far for PSG.

I reckon Ozil is a terrific player on his day, he's not consistent enough to be considered in the top-5 for his position though, although he is good, he doesn't deliver on a lot of occasions, I've watched a lot of Real games the past couple of years, on occasions he is excellent but then he goes for a few games being completely anonymous. He's still a good purchase for Arsenal even at that price.
