MDMA Comedown: Some People are Unaffected?

People have different serotonin systems, I for one space my rolls out by 3 months and get only pure MDMA (Yes, I test it 8) ) and I always get a terrible comedown off a regular dosage, even though I rolled only 9 times :(

^^^ was about to say it has something to do with how your serotonin receptors release and how much... some people who are generally depressed sober, in my opinion is not a good idea to roll because i feel like that type of chemical imbalance in the brain is just goign to worsen it... it sucks to say that, being that real MDMA is just such an amazing time... i generally try to keep it for special occasions, like music festivals, and concerts, and nights where we can get all the friends together in a large group which is hard because we all have different scehdules

***my personal experiences with comedowns*** personally i might feel a little sad, not really sad, more like a blah, that really sucks the high wore off almost completely now, but after some sleep, the next day i feel great! i really really like the afterglow day

Afterglow from MDMA is quite nice. I had it the first four times I did it, but now I just get comedowns. I had been doing it every month at the time though, so perhaps now with my much more spaced out rolls I'll be able to experience the afterglow again one day. I'd also appreciate a nice LSD afterglow one day again too.

Also, by comedown I mean the post-MDMA depression that follows after using it and not the peak dropping off while you're on it. Regarding that, however, my peak always drops off really smoothly, which I enjoy very much.

In my opinion, stress in day to day life has a lot to do with comedowns. Even if you don't really think it affects you. If I have something bothersome on my mind, I won't go out and take anything until its under control. Always seems to give me a midweek meltdown when I have. Amplifies it. Anxiety and stress trick my mind into feeling down.

people may not get depression with occasional use of mdma but increased emotional instability and general lack of motivation often affect heavy users who don't report a negative mood.

either way it will have negative cognitive effects.

i have abused mdma and these days i need a large dose (250mg) to get a high and i often want to redose. the comedown is brutal and as such i avoid it

I've been noticing that this time around. I'm currently sick and tired of my summer job and going to work everyday affects my mood. My MDMA depression seemed to conveniently go from depression to an 'I'm doing alright'-mood when work is over.

@pofacedhoe I definitely notice that my friend now has issues with memory, but I've also noticed that he has become more aggressive over the months now that I think about it.

I have used it occasionally (only a few times a year) since the mid 1980's. Haven't experienced any memory, mood or cognitive problems. My job requires I go through mental tests every 6 months. That being said I only use the dose I need and test, Test, TEST!!! However everyone's body is different. Also I wonder if many of the problems people experience are from adulterated product.

Yep that's exactly what I mean. Amplifies feelings. If you hate your job, you will hate it x1000 on a comedown
