How so?
Your statement is illogical, a crystal is judged by its optical clarity.
The uniformed clear recrystallized salts is the outcome of the purification.
How can you even imply that the clear unadulterated salt that has been expertly produced is the same as a product with obvious impunity's.
You can't just put two compounds together and expect a perfect crystal to come out the other end, co-recrystallization just doesn't work that way..
If say MDMA~HCl and a cut like an Alkylbenzylamine such as N-isopropylbenzylamine are put together to recrystallize they form as individuals not as a combined crystal.
Only the two MDMA isomers can co-crystallize on account of there ability to repeat and build a crystal lattice structure so the only thing you can cut MDMA crystals with is MDMA.
What I meant, is that if you find a crystal on the street while buying MDMA, that doesn't imply any purity standards. People often believe that if they buy molly and it's crystal, it's pure; said crystal could easily be methylone or some other substance.
I'm not arguing that crystals can be impure.
