Way back I used to go to The Scala in Kings Cross when it was still a cinema, but a private one ( no not that sort )
They would show un-classified stuff and I saw the uncut version of Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer, I enjoyed it but it was one of the most disturbing films I've seen, a good number of people actually got up and left.
They had a interesting smoking policy, me and the friend I used to go with would always be sat their smoking hash or weed and never got told to stop but they would always go round and stop people smoking cigarettes.
The trip night were great, 3 films back to back, one a remember was Head- The Monkeys - Blue Sunshine - The Trip ( Peter Fonda )
It's a night club now and not a very good one at that
