legally high

I didn't think they'd dumped him because of heroin, I thought they'd dumped him because he was an out of control drugged up nutter who rinsed them for cash in return for Baxtercaine.
They definitely dumped him because of the heroin. They were more than happy for him to source the other stuff.

lol EPD must be getting flogged all over the place like that.

i feel sorry for peoples noses.

They were some pretty massive lines of ethylphen that they were doing. My nose quivered in sympathy.

For me, the only new drug worth doing in the last ten years is pirate. I know some see it as an MDMA sub, some as a cocaine sub, but for me it's not a substitute. It's just filthy (in more ways than one) pirate. Anything else I CAN either find a better substitute from a traditional drug, or the effects are not really what I'm after.

This. Pirate is its own drug and will still be seen as a classic in 20 years' time. %)

I genuinely think we will see change in the next 10 years, the general public are starting to move that way and I'm sure many many people are sick of the huge sums of money spent on police operation to prevent the sale and possession of cannabis....what a total waste of time and resources even with the current system, apart from a few cases of it contributing to the onset of existing mental health conditions ( I'm conformable this can happen in a small number of people) it really is benign and in comparison to alcohol is clearly very safe.

No we wont.

I'll have a tenner on it :)

I think there will be probably not because on the morality and common sense factor but just because of he practicalities.

The internet has opened up a global market, in RCs an illegal substances and I can't see any way this will be stopped.

Our police force are stretched and something will have to give, cannabis seems the obvious move.

I'm probably being overly optimistic that society and the powers that be will be able to realign their approach so radically but 10 years is a long time and the world is changing at an ever increasing rate.

Certainly if RCs continue to be produced as they are now a different approach to prohibition will have to be considered, I'm far from keen on the manner by which these substances are distributed.

You took the words straight out of my mouth. There was a run up a while ago with a weaker slightly odder and confused version of this programme-Was UK again and had George? Lamb presenting (budget definitely did not stretch for an advisory/research assistant).
It's on Youtube. No doubt many have mentioned it along the way...worth a watch purely for how not to make a successful programme on illegal highs and actually get anview...opinion/stand point, ahhh Baxter caner and Chemical ali g-gawd bless em.

noones mentioned what a complete tool the politician they interviewed in it was. He was like something straight out of Brass Eye.

i doubt his pals are much to blame. in that situation, mostve the time - friends dont drop you - you drop them. i was doing the same shit as baxter ten years ago. selling pills i was buying in bulk onto my social group for a 300% net profit, then spending said profit on copious amounts of crack and heroin. whilst my mates had a great time pilling their nuts off at whatever drum and bass night we were located that week, i couldnt wait to get the hell out of there and spend my friends' money. heroin is the most selfish of all drugs. nothing and nobody matters when you are in its grip. appointments with friends/family become an utter chore to be avoided. it distils everything bad inside you into a poisonous, corrosive bile and slowly whittles away your soul. i would imagine the same happened with our good friend baxter here. fairly soon the thought of spending his cash on any drug but smack will be absolutely unthinkable to him. heroin is a very jealous lover

Won't be the current goverment. They dont listen to the ACMD, the previous labour goverment reclassified weed from C back to B against the advice of the AMCD. The Torries banned meph, mxe and are away to ban a whole range of APBs.....which if they dont make Class A make a total mockery of the classification system as it has the same profile as MDMA which is class A. I ve not heard any Tory ever mention that the drug laws are not working, in fact they keep spouting that as statisically drug use is down, so therefore the current prohibition is working. Only the Lib Dems have some fucking clue on the subject, but their fucked as a party now they're shagging the Tory bastards.

The lib dems were very good at being the 'cool' party and making promises because they never thought they'd be in power. Now that they do have some influence how vocal are they about thier more liberal ideas ?
They never had a clue, they paid lip service to some liberal ideas to attract young voters....then pissed on them from a great height because they are too gutless to do anything else.
And thats coming from someone who sadly voted for the cunts more than once
