I think its when the insults become abusive that the line is crossed. In an ideal world there woulnt be either. I agree with the system though otherwise we could end up with outright bullying amongs other unpleasant things.

Some people are less skilled in 'standing up for themselves' whether it be in a school playground or an internet forum.

Its quite an art to retaliate without being aggressive, but at the same time also managing to put the person down and get your own point across. Ive still got a lot to learn about all this. Possibly cos i usually choose to keep out of arguments rather than hone my skills. I dont mean that in a Cliff Richard Im so Nice way, i just dont enjoy arguing. It seems some people do but i cannot understand them at all.

Yeah tis all about inner peace and being articulate. people piss me off but ive learnt not to give a shit. me neither i dont enjoy it, i dont get fired up easily, i dont like to argue. used to get pissed off easily, now im quite calm. unless somebody is talking absolute bollocks

Hey no probs man =D It's very hard to communicate effectively without body language anyway.. I'm not one to bear grudges and certainly don't mean to REALLY offend anyone - I may get a bit flippant now and then but it's all really tongue in cheek or just friendly pisstaking & banter most of the time. Me & Ponti had a bit of a spat the other week, but we kissed and made up and buried the symbolic hatchet, but I get the feeling he may still be feeling a little sore judging by his responses to me last night :\

But yes, I'm just as big a druggy fuck-up as anyone else on this site, and as for being young, well I've got 6 years on you, young man ;)
 
I still can't decide if my mates are forgiving, forgetful, or just finally used to it

Just catching up as I've been offline for a coupla weeks (PAYG dongle ran out). So what's the latest on this meet-up? Has a date been set yet? I really would like to get together with you chaps & chappesses, but August is looking very unlikely fer me at the mo' due to new job, son's birthday etc. etc. So wot's the score?

Well boys and girls. I'm going mountaineering in Wales late September/October time myself regardless, for definite.

I'll try and post a date, as at least it means 1 person of EADD is confirmed.

You have mentioned a whole lot about your mountaineering plans! I'm sure that everyone on here is very excited for you, but. You might consider losing that booze & bulletin-board habit before going, as there is no way a rambling Ginhead like you can drag his ataxic ass up even the mildest Grade I in T-shirt weather.
 
I will re iterate this just so that folk know .

I do not meet Drunk People or people that are going to be Drunk in my company . Drugs fine all types no problem but Booze nah .

Yeah, fair post. I admit i'd overstepped the mark last night. I should probably buy some better drugs rather than alcohol, but I've lost all my contacts since giving up illegal drugs lol
