^Yeah definitely. Speaking of which, I've been on something called etifoxine if anyone might be interested...it's lighter than benzos, more of a background treatment than an acute one but it does work. It just reduces anxiety levels in general - certainly wouldn't work for any sudden massive anxiety but MUCH safer than benzos for long-term use. Worth looking into for anyone it may concern :)

I check that out and thanks for the support. I trying hard and want to be free of it. When I first cutt my dose in half was hsving bad headrush symptoms, is that brain rush? That went away after a week but it was scary, had to smack myself because felt the lights going out.

Thanks for this, definitely something I want to look into. Can you comment on withdrawals from cessation of use, or side effects? I suffer from a pretty mild but pretty constant level of background anxiety and use SSRIs to combat it but I frequently end up forgetting to renew my prescription/fucking things up and going through agony, as well as pissing my doctor off. I've been using Etizolam to kill the heavier anxiety attacks but also recreationally. They worked well but I don't think I can trust myself with something that also makes me feel pretty nice when taken in higher doses. Also the withdrawal from it, whilst relatively short, was something I do not ever wanna repeat.

'Oh well, the withdrawal can't be worse than SSRIs, let's take all these an when I run out I won't get any more' <--- me two weeks ago

That might have been hypotension, pretty sure benzos can be responsible for that and it would explain head rushes. Cutting your dose in half must have been brutal :\

With etifoxine you mean? I actually haven't had any WDs at all from quitting after 2 months of daily use, believe it or not. I've been on low doses but definitely nothing worth reporting. Not really any side effects either...the only one I can think of is that it does make my chest feel a little uncomfortably tight, not quite sure where that comes from. Nothing dramatic but always worth looking into I guess.
But yeah I mean for heavier anxiety attacks I don't think etifoxine cuts it sadly :( then again if you're on light doses daily it might just help avoid those attacks altogether. Good luck :)

Thanks for the info <3 yeah I was thinking it might be worth trying like you said: a light dose daily to help relieve the ever present vague anxiety, the heavier ones are very rare fortunately and I could probably deal with them if it wasn't for that. Shall have a poke about and see what I can find out

Any opinions anyone want to express as the mongynes/heavyness/fuck you up ness/ of benzos in order ?

Since ive only tried 3 i havent much of a list

but it goes

1 - phenazz - feels like your brains just done 12 rounds with Daviud Haye or something
2 - etizolam very clean and fresh in comparison
3 - pyrazolam - a total lightweight

Ill be trying diazepam and this new diclazepam this week, but want to be keeping my wits as sharp as possible for some forthcoming events. What would people say is a good calming benzo without turning you into a drooling zombie ?

Ive heard Mogadon is right up there. I think I'll be avoiding that one for the time being. :\

Sensibly dosed clonazepam, lovely stuff

Clons are a smooth ride until you start dropping your dosage. Sometimes barely feel it working but if I miss a dose or late I really feeling that.

well my jolly green "giants"AKA DICKLESSIAZAPAM have arrived. I get a strange sense just by looking at them they are quite strong. Better start with 10 i suppose.

(note for HR -0 this is not an advisable starting dose for any new substance, bt my downer tolerance is ridiculous. Last night i had 14 etizolams, 2 zoplicones and 50mg of diphenydramine. I still couldn't sleep until 4 am. :\

On second thoughts i'll play it safer with these to start with, and try and get a subtle of feel of what they're like first at a moderate dose. Maybe try 5 to start with and see what wonders await; If subtetly exists for me any more, as far as benzos are concerned. 8(

^ Exactly that. At least pay lip service to HR by being even slightly safe, which means a fraction of a pill rather than 5. You have literally no idea what they contain. Literally NO IDEA.

oh come on, i wont even feel a fraction of a pill......:\

benzos are cross tolerant remember.

Ill go for 2 then, which is incrrediby safe for me. The old problem still pertains when you work upwards trying to find your sweet spot, all those experimental pills are in effect wasted if i wasnt to feel anything from them.

Barh sod it im going for 5, i'll be fine. This vendor arent going to be releasing a mega streghth benzo pill without all sorts of warnings.......

The first time is always the best, so better make it a good one IMO.

(HR brigade feel free to flame me :D)

You can't assume they're what they claim to be, you don't know what idiot is making them, sorting them, putting them in labelled bags, etc.

Actually I think there are indicators which can increase your level of confidence, and that the risk is often overplayed - you don't get flight HR web sites trying to eliminate the risk of death from flying (actually you may well but few would take them seriously). But some steps are so easy, like starting small, that there seems no reason not to follow them.

Yet, if you have a dependency on a drug (or class of drugs) I don't know how you can titrate the dose of a new batch (or different drug within that class) without suffering.

Do you mean if i was to take a small dose of these dicklas things as possible then i'd have to top up with other benos anyway due to my dependency issues ? (Does titrate mean to gradually work upwards, the online dictinary was useless for explaining that term)

Kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place then. Anyone else received them yet, and want be the first guinea pig lol ?

Fuck it - the antitidote to too much benzos is stimulants - correct ? Any mishaps should be easily rectified if that is the case.

"Actually I think there are indicators which can increase your level of confidence" please could you expand on this ?

haha! tomorrow is the day i will allow myself to take a break from letting my brain have a break from benzos and alcohol. on holiday. needless to say i've decided that once i'm at the airport is fair game. just need to be careful not to miss the flight.

hello clonazepam, etizolam, diazepam, zopiclone and zolpidem. oh i have fucking missed you.

that is all.

/end most pointless post ever.

isnt it dodgy taking blister packs trhrough customs ?

well done on achieving the target you'd set for your date though. All too easy to get even deeper involved the next time round though. :\

AND dont forget your tolerance will have come down, waves nagging finger at you. =D

A significant landmark in your life is not pointless.

Yes HR says you should start off with an allergy dose and work up. But in reality this practice is modified by various factors which will be driven by your own idea of acceptable risk, at least they are for me. This means no-one can tell you exactly what to do, you are responsible for yourself :) (this is my own opinion and not necessarily the view of Bluelight or other BL staff)

Whatever you do it needs to take into account the following risks:

- That, instead of what you ordered, you may have an extremely toxic compound which will kill you at fairly low dose (that is, a low dose for the compound you THINK you have).
- That you may be allergic to whatever you have, whether it's what you think you have or not.

You can mitigate these risks by starting with a very low dose, like 50µg, and working up, typically by doubling the dose till you feel an effect or go beyond a dose where it should have worked but hasn't. You should really leave it a few days between each dose as you don't know the half life of whatever you have and you may build a tolerance by dosing every day which will skew the effects.
