I didn't know I was a mod in European and African events!

tbh I didn't know there was such a forum.

I'm not worried about the order of mods' names, as long as knock is last. =D
 
Haha, yeah, knock seems to be last in both. This might incentivise him to get it sorted!

lol, only just noticed what you did there.....

and Marmz, i'm trying to find out if we NEED a seperate forum for Events as it's barely used, i've just been in there.

I think maybe an events Megathread would be a better idea, and people would at least get top hear about some of these events.

ironing on a drugz website. That lil crow is lovely. I saw a lil crow having flying lessons a few weeks back. I went to chck it was alright , I got close it, flew off and the daddy crow (who'd been hiding in a tree nearby )came and swooped over my head squawking. There was another crow in the opposite tree making the same noise. Baba magpies are nice too <3
I'd love to stay and chat but I seriously have ironing to do. My son's going on holiday tomorrow. Is SHM alright? and sam?

good luck with that one ... I don't use it myself .. but I can kinda see the benefit. If you're looking for a specific event and have to trawl through the megathread for instance, dunno if most will be arsed looking through 800 posts. Plus if you start a thread in EADD on a specific show/event it'll quickly sink into the ether, but in the events forum it will remain prominent and easy to find. I know each individual thread only probably appeals to about 2 posters but I can see how it's better over there.

I haven't checked in there for ages tho, so I don't know how much it's actually gathering dust

partly cos I don't go to any events. but we have a "festivals" thread in EADD.

I see your point about trying to find info on a particular event, but google will do that if it's just info you're after...

Baby magpies and crows have got a bad rep in EADD thanks to Ceres. Imagine Elmer Fudd looking for a rabbit and that's Ceres at 5am stomping round his yard looking for baby crows to exterminate.

[edit] re Sam, haven't heard from him recently, really hope he's alright, I think he will be.

SHM has posted and seems alright given he's still recovering from his op.

not for meeting people or checking out who's going from BL ... not as well as looking in the events forum.

Eh, ignore me. I just see it as an 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' issue.

But if you're feeling a bit like you're gonna buckle at all the extra pressure from discovering you've got another forum you're supposed to be modding .. I can understand it =D

No, you're probably right, there must be some reason for it being a seperate forum

i always forget it exists.

swampdragon..you could probably get away with all sorts of shit in the Events forum tbh =D
