Is that right, Brimz? My ex-fiancé was oldskool Romany. They had to close down part of the motorway when her granddad died kinda Romany. She never used that word. She was fluent in Gypo but rarely used it so am not disputing it. Just annoyed I did not know. She did call me "mush" though which, despite Cokernee overtones, is actually just an affectionate term for "my man".
