Well, that's probably because it's cached on people's computers, fuck all you can do about that, and there's nothing stopping anyone taking a copy of a photo you've posted and doing whatever they like with it, even if you delete the original. but hopefully we're all respectful of other people's privacy that we wouldn't do that sort of thing :\ fundamentally, if you don't want your photo made public, the only way to guarantee it is never to post it.

It won't be visible to anyone who hasn't already seen it. As knock has said, in a lot more words ;)

Indeed. Although you can upload your pic to photobucket or whatever and just post a link on BL instead of the image. When you want to take it down, take it off photobucket (or whatever) and all people will see is an error message. Voila!
 
Ah fuck.........that all makes sense. I basically did use correct practice. If i deleted my internet cache the pic would not of shown up. I also used a pic thats not anywhere else on the internet so it would not return any google image matches either.

Was fucking confused for a while there.
 
you can up it to imgur, and then delete it. it's only generally available to you if youve already seen it because it's in your cache, and for no other reason. The link wont work for other people who haven't yet seen it before

You had already looked at my pic, so u have a copy of my photo on your pc in your temporary internet files. So i deleted the link in my post. Bogmans post still contained the original link. Your pc knows what the file is as you have already viewed it, so you can still see the pic, but its being viewed from your pc (from the temp. internet files) not from my original location (imgur)

did that make sense?
