I think there should also be the ability of members to call and cast a vote of "no confidence".

I don't think there should be any moderators. Members should have moderation power. Perhaps the longer you've been around the more moderation power you have, or something.

Well that's a stupid misinterpretation of what I said :D But, Slashdot essentially does just that and has been doing so for about 15 years or more. Not editing but "deleting".

No Daily mail reader, union member, and have seen a couple of shop stewards ousted through this route. Sometimes people need to be told when it's time to stop.

YEP. Members used to be able to do that on other non BL forums, they could see who was also reading the particular thread they were reading. It was a good feature i thought. No one wanted to be all their lonesome. Lets have another vote lol.

Quick tip for would be mods, don't spend hours and hours on your application because we will spend five minutes reading them

Why you want to moderate EADD?
Did hitler stop after Poland? Hell no, he continued kicking his jack boots all over Europe until the third reich gave every boy and girl a poster of a Porsche on their bedroom walls. With both the Lounge and Europe under my shadow we can concentrate on the sports forum where we can finally rid that forum of the shame that is video gaming. With me as mod we will finally achieve a purity free of nerds who think controllers require hand eye co ordination.
What relevant knowledge / experience you have of modding, drugs and harm-reduction?
Three solid years of modding the lounge and I have achieved the impossible. Racism and homophobia is no more, there exists a nirvana of love, nudity and yoga. We have helped young teenage ravers realise their dream of starring in pornography and one can post freely without the fear of gore, drug talk or poop. I have established the Coulda, woulda, didn't thread and the Sandy vagina thread.
I have an extensive experience in drugs and their effects and when it comes to harm reduction I'm still alive, which has got to be a head start in this place. In fact the last person on blue light who tried start a petition to have me banned died within six months of an overdose. If that isn't reason enough to respect my authority then I may as well just hand in my mod stick.
How much time could you dedicate to modding?
The problem with modding a drug forum is how do you out mod an insomniac on stimulants? You can't out wake them so the next best thing is to have someone who is awake when they are tweaked out. In short let the time zones work for you. Imagine a forum that is under surveillance 24/7. Yes, with me on the job it's like implementing your very own NSA right here in Europe.
How you would improve EADD?
It couldn't get much more lame surely? Plus given the previous controversial history of racist mods here I can assure you I am xenophobic against the entire United Kingdom. Scots, English, welsh, even those weird inbreds in jersey will be treated equally, and mocked no differently than the French. I might cut the Scandinavians some slack if they share with me some of their dark winter amateur porn. I believe corruption can be beneficial to one and all.
