I strongly disagree with the female thing, a mod should be the best available candidate, no matter what gender or ethnic background.

Choosing a female to fill in some self-imposed "pink quota" is retarded and counter-productive.

If you do have to choose a female, then I vote Marmz, anybody but that teenager from the other sub-forum.
 
It's not to fill a quota Kenny, it's just I think it would be more balanced to have at least ONE female mod out of 4.

4 blokes is too blokey.

Better to have a bit of fanny about innit.
 
Hmmm when is this for again? With me being an mtt'er on pokerstars I cud maybe watch these boards alot more , I am definitely becoming a tiny bit of more of an active poster (if my moaning counts) and feel I could do a good job at keeping this place the lovely place it always has been

While I thank you graciously, I was a mod in the past, and I had to step down due to a fucking shit load of shit and shit (a bit of piss too) so - unless I'm certain that my mind won't play havoc on the task at hand then I'm never even going to consider doing so again.
It was great while it lasted though :) So yeah - I don't know many of the "newer" / "only just started seeing them arounders" members well enough, but most of them seem like good candidates.
And there are some "oldskoolerz" ( / "old-timers" ;) ) that would be great for the job :)

I hope you're applying brimz. I remember when you first started posting, its been interesting watching you integrate. Sometimes you'd want attention, sometimes you'd sulk, but you soon got the hang of how it works and no one networks quite like you ;) You're a bright spark and a mover & shaker thats for sure.

PTCH would be the 1st to piss himself at the thought of him applying to be mod :D
