I agree on the M&S thing, but it's a fucking govt program, there is no point singling out M&S especially for a "boycott", when did a boycott achieve anything? Picket would be more productive. Of all the cunts :)

According to this info, you don’t have to go on a MWA if you have recently finished the Work Programme.

18. Given the policy intent of MWA, the following claimants must not be considered for referral to MWA:

• currently working (paid or voluntary)

• undertaking employment related study / training

• taking part in or recently completed* another employment measure (contracted or non-contracted) aimed at helping them move closer to the labour market.

(* A claimant ‘dropping-out’ of an employment measure prematurely may, or may not, indicate a lack of focus and discipline on their part; it is for Advisory Teams to consider the merits of MWA referral on a case by case basis).

(8) The Work Programme is a scheme designed to assist a claimant at risk of becoming long-term unemployed in which, for a period of up to 2 years, the claimant is given such support as the provider of the Work Programme considers appropriate and reasonable in the claimant’s circumstances, subject to minimum levels of support published by the provider, to assist the claimant to obtain and sustain employment which may include work search support, provision of skills training and work placements for the benefit of the community.

The DWP have confirmed that the WP is an employment-related measure:

in theory : getting the hooligan element involved to smash up a few m & s shop windows whilst waving waving some suitable bannards to the tv cameras would make all the headlines. :sus: Not that i really approve (as if its all down to my say so anyway) of such things, but they dont half make bad head-lines for the government, and cause quick re-thinks and U turns IME., :? :|

Peaceful pickets just drag on for months on end with no clear resolution ever coming into sight :?

All the above can be summarised as "slave labour". Give people decent training opportunities for decent jobs, that dont destroy your sould or your stifle your spark by having to behave like a robot for years uopn end. Its easy for the higher classes with all their networks and connections, but not as easy for people from more humble origins.

Still, i try take inspiration from Frank Mc Court "look for reasons how things can be got done, not for reasons why they cant" I kind of keep that one in the back of my mind, hoping it rubs off on my subconscious and eventually emerges as conscious ideas, and then finally emerging as concrete achieavable plans. i do in fact believe it is having this effect.

id be empelled to take few dumps in the chocolate vats, a coup;e of pisses in the soups, and for the seafood specials, well they'd get a very special, freshly milked, dressing (or dipping sauce).

doh, youve seen straight through me, no doubt the phenaz i took about 20 minutes ago has already loosened the 'boundaries in my brain'. Id better sign off soon before i start becoming incoherent again. The lead weights are descending fast. This stuff is way stronger than etizolam on a mg to mg basis, its like half a bottle of Glen McFiddich compared to half a fosters. An early night will be in order me thinks.

if i was working on a phenaz diet for £ 2 an hour id make sure to be sacked instantly: Boss : "Good morning new trainees". Me: "Fuck off". =D
 
if you are told to go to MWA , heres the way out of it if your not on work programme
get on an online part time * job related" training course asap

there are loads online , they are all free as well, just enrol on one and print out the confirmation

But here is the catch .... you MUST get on it before they refer you.

There are so many loopholes with the DWP
Dont let them use you as slave labor
 
well this was a fucking joke waited from 9am till 1pm for a call from them had to ring back at 1:15pm told i would get a call by 2:15pm nothing by 2:45pm so i ring again no apology no fuck all just to be told that they had sent my payment yesterday a day late now i've got to wait till tuesday instead of getting my money at midnight tonight arse holes
 
Can you not apply for any crisis money or anything to tide you over?

The DWP only care about one thing mate, its saving money and sanctioning people. Its a bloody cheek to have an 0845 Number as well as 99% of the people who have to ring them are unemployed

no not any more they do not do them just give you a list of place to get food for free


right anyone know if the bank can clear my dole quicker than waiting 3days well with the weekend make 4 days ? if i rang and asked them what do you think
 
I dont think the bank can do it, if the DWP gave you a set date for the payment, thats pretty much it.

No wonder people are going to food banks, the way Ian Duncan Smith is running the DWP is nothing short of a disgrace and certainly illegal compared to EU law
 
normally it would be in my account tonight and i've debts to sort out and no fing bacca bar one 12.5g packet which i smoke in a day so grump cunt me till tuesday now :( if the had just told me wednesday that it had not been sent i could have rung up yesterday morning and got it sorted out .

yer the food banks are a good idea in away stops people getting money early just to spend it in the pub i guess
