When I was a teenager I was a terrible drunk. I would do terrible things after a few drinks, generally in a black-out state. After a few years that stopped and I just became a friendly wino/whisky drinker. Now I'm not that bothered about drink at all, although I still like a pint or two or an occasional bottle of wine. Strange how time changes things.

I cannot abide drunks of any kind really. I've never enjoyed the tatse or the effects of booze and it's just never been something i've been into at all. I only ever drink at funerals, when a family member pushes a pint my way and occasionally when I'm on eccies but even then, I'm usually DJing and I'd much rather have a cup of tea or a coke.

I generally find drunks obnoxious and completely unreasonable. I probably fit both bills already so I don't need to add to the scale of things and I certainly don't need others following suit.

Same sort of thing. Nowadays I don't have much patience for how selfish many people are when they are drunk, my friends fully included.

As far as my drinking goes, the horrible depression and uselessness the following day as well as the nausea and amnesia on the night make the dozens of other intoxticants much more appealing.

Yup, this. I think maybe drugsters can be good at being objective in looking at a substance's effects, which makes for a more rounded view in realising when the effect just isn't worth the misery afterwards.

Booze is weird, messy, i like being around drunk people when drunk, but when sober being around drunk people feels weird, unpredictable, loud zombified messy crazy-ness

I don't actually mind drunk people when I'm sober.. they're like cute drooling labradors. It always makes me feel very speedy in comparison, though.

i drink a lot (like 2-3 times a week) and i'm with other people when i drink and it's a good time all around. if i couldn't drink for some reason i would absolutely not want to be at one of the places i get drunk at or with those people when they'd been drinking. drunk people are annoying when i'm sober.
