You've got to ask yourself one question, "do I like dreaming?"... Well, do ya, punk?

Youtube clips won't be higher quality than good mp3s.

definitely not, you can download (paid for) mp3's in wav form now.

As a similar aside, you know that thing where really old people can't remember what they ate five minutes ago but can remember exactly what they were wearing on June 24th 1923 and the whole day in accurate detail etc? I reckon that's often BS too, there's just nobody around to challenge their memory of the facts and we naturally believe their assertions.

I love the mind, interesting little things aren't they?

Yeah I've got a mate who redckons he's drawn to look at a clock at 11.11 every morning, completely subconsciously (even though he's been aware he does it for years :?), he also reckons it's a bit of a phenomenon.

I wonder how many times he sees a clock at other times?

Technically, if you download a WAV then it's not an mp3! :D it's a WAV ;)

WAV is lossless but there is no compression, so it takes up more space. FLAC is compressed and lossless so is by definition better.

I can't tell the difference anyway. 320/sec mp3 is plenty for me.

I like having wavs though, it's like owning a Rick Wakeman gatefold sleeve concept album.

I feel that way about my FLACs. I've got Aphex Twin vinyl encoded to FLAC and it sounds superb.

Rick Wakeman? I thought I was the only one who liked Rick Wakeman =D I saw him about 15 years ago, he played in a church in Haddington, East Lothian. Can't actually remember if he was any good though.

My FLACs of The Orb are mucho better quality than my MP3s of everything else. I hadn't realised that FLAC was such a big leap up from MPthrizzles because all the FLAC stuff I owned beforehand was either live bootleg recording or off crappy old records.

I had an extremely vivid and realistic dream this morning that everything in my house had been stolen whilst I was sleeping. When I say everything I mean right down to the front door, carpets, kitchen cabinets, a complete house gutting basically. I was planning on how to tell the police and insurance companies what had happened, and was wondering if someone had injected me with Rohypnol or something.

I don't really or totally believe in dream analysis; science says it's nonsensical mumbo-jumbo. But I'll look this one up, and see what interpretation the Freudian camp put on it, as I have a sneaking superstisious feeling that some dreams do mean something. And there was at least some basis to Freud's scientifically discredited ideas.

Yeah i know man, about a month ago or something? found out about it on the day, and had work the next day..

did you go?

I once had a dream where I was constantly shifting in size. The dream in question had no real substance but was entirely physical feelings of growing and shrinking by many thousands of magnitudes of order. Talk about strange, and it seemed like it lasted forever. I want a psychedelic trip like that! It was awesome.

Also, I've never did shrooms, but I've had some good shroom trips in my dreams.
