White Collar Speedball? (Oxy + Adderall) aka "pharmball", "pharm speedball"

I've been arguing with my girlfriend all night about this, and id like to see someone else's input.

She is saying: Adderall plus oxy is pretty much the same thing as coke and dope.
Adderall and dope is a much different high than adderall and oxy.
That getting REALLY coked up is pretty much the same as tweaking on amps.

I am saying: Adderall and dope isn't much different than Adderall and oxy.
A speedball and a pharmaceutical speedball are almost nothing alike.
And getting really coked up is NOTHING like tweaking on amps.

So i guess the main question is am i correct in saying that mixing coke and heroin is definitely not almost the same as mixing adderall and heroin, basically nothing alike in my opinion. Plus i believe amps and heroin to be basically the same as amps and oxy, am i right?
And i know im right about coke and adderall being quite different highs.


If you have ever tried these combinations please give me your input. If you believe me to be wrong about my statements try to explain why as well, i can admit defeat as long as i am proven wrong.


Edit: Also, mods if this is self serving or whatever close it. Im fairly certain that its basic common sense and everything i said is correct, in which case definitely close it.

well, shooting adderall and shooting coke are NOTHING alike so I dont know how they could really be compared, other than they both make your heart beat fast. Also, I've never shot oxy, but I hear it doesn't give a rush compared to heroin, so shooting oxy and adderall sounds like it would just be a really shitty version of a speedball.
 
Even just mixing the two by sniffing, adderall plus an opiate isn't even comparable to an opiate and coke. And the fact that she thinks coke and tweaking on amps is pretty much the same blows my mind, we seriously got in a fight about this because i can't convince her that she is wrong about pretty much everything stated above. :|
 
thats rediculous. i have a question for u. is she basing her opinion from experience or just what she thinks it would be like. i could see someone thinking that if IF theyd never compared the two themselves.
 
She has done coke, but not mixed with an opiate, and she has done adderall and oxy. Never a real speedball.

I have done a real speedball, and done adderall ontop of heroin. They are NOTHING alike, but she says im wrong because adderall and oxy is aparently "so different" from adderall and heroin, even though she's never done it with heroin, nore has she ever done coke and heroin. Yet someone she is 100% convinced that she is correct and i am wrong. It baffles me, it really does.. 8)
 
edit: and i just realized this belongs in BDD not OD, so either more it or close it. Question is answered but could lead to opinionated discussion, either way whatever.

Thats exactly what i said, i didn't want it to turn into a big fight over something this retarded so i was like fuck it, this weekend im going to buy some heroin, coke, adderall, and oxy.

Then she can suck it.

ha, it's funny that you got into a serious fight about this. However, it sounds like a good excuse to go out and experament. this way she can learn to respect, appreciate, and fear the might experience of I.V coke.
 
While pharmaceutical Amphetamine+Oxycodone and Heroin+Cocaine are alike in that they are both a combination of a stimulant drug and a powerful (Opioid) CNS depressant, in my opinion the similarities end there . I take Adderall with Hydrocodone, and I enjoy it very much, but it is NOTHING compared to the feeling you get from Coke and H together.
 
I think pharms in a speedball could be similar to a real speedball in the case of mixing oxy with coke instead of dope and coke because it's still coke and an opiate (although not exactly the same or nearly as good. obviously nothing will be the exact same) but adderall and oxy would be nothing like coke and dope because adderall and coke are nothing alike at all, they're not even the same type of drug except for the fact that they're both stimulants. I personally hate amps of any kind but happen to love coke. I even hate it when I buy coke that's cut with amps. That is a terrible comparison and no offense but i think your girl just doesn't know what she's talking about, I can't imagine how one would compare the two.
 
Everybody is remembering that a real speedball is intravenous Heroin and coke mixed in the same shot, right? Don't tell your girlfriend to just "go ahead and try it". Before ever doing speedballs you need to be careful about your tolerance beforehand or someone could die. She needs to start with small doses of coke until she finds the dose that works for her. She also needs to do the same with the H. Until she finds her tolerance to each then it is safe to go ahead and try it. A speedball is nothing to just fuck around with without testing the waters first. So many people die by just jumping into an unknown dose.

As for simply sniffing or orally combining an upper and downer, yes amphetamine will provide a different high than using cocaine.

No, they will differ. Heroin is shorter acting but produces more of a rush. Also more sedating than oxycodone. Oxycodone is longer acting and basically more stimulating. So the opiate that you combine with amphetamine will differ in the high.
 
White Collar Speedball? (Oxy + Adderall)

Hey, just out of curiosity, do any of you guys ever do what I like to call a "White Collar Speedball"? I haven't heard the name / phrase used before, but due to one of my favorite combinations being adderall and oxycodone, I gave it that title. For me, there's nothing like the feeling of insufflating 30mg of adderall with 60mg of oxycodone - the combination of stimulant and analgesic plus their pricing and prescribed populations / demanding populations made me come up with the name as a play on modern drug culture and perception of prescription pills.

Does anybody else do this? Is there a different phrase / title used to refer to this type of combo when it's a tablet based and insufflated mix? Just curious.

I keep reading about this combination, and it's not a speedball! Speedballs are all about the rush. Oxy has no rush, no matter the roa. Either does Adderall.

Not a speedball. You might enjoy this combo, but it is NOTHING like a speedball.
 
Oxycodone and dextromethylphenidate (focalin) is a much more synergistic and "clean"-feeling opiate-stimulant combo IME. I used to take this combo orally with both medications in an ER preparation. Adderall muddies the effects of opiates way too much due to the pesky 25% of l-amp.

But like morphling said, it's not a speedball, but that doesn't mean it's not a euphoric combo.
 
i did this combo a few times with alcohol,weed and hydrocodone added some times, i dont suggest excedding adderal,oxy and weed. You can have some trouble if you add other substances to that. But yeah cocaine + oxy is alot more euphoric but alot more dangerous. Watch out with the adderal + oxy combo
 
i always find it funny when the speed ball purists come out lol. It must be heroin and cocaine in one shot! I've never shot a drug but if i do, it will be a true speed ball.

i don't like opiates and stims though, stims kind of overpower the opiate high. Benzos and stims, now that's another story.

there's no title for the mix other than what you want to give it lol i like my ghetto speed balls, CWE codeine + ephedrine, probably the shittiest high you can imagine haha. I think oxy and addy are too stimulating on their own, you need to strike a good balance with the stimulation. Dextroamp and oxycodone, or adderall and hydromorphone/morphine/hydrocodone would be a better mix IMO.

plenty of people mix uppers and downers but really a speed ball should only refer to heroin/cocaine IV'd. I had a psychology prof try to tell me a speed ball was methamp and an opiate, i felt like destroying him but didn't want to alienate myself in front of tons of people lol.

i've done the hydrocodone/adderall combo (for the exact reason you said, robotripping, the oxycodone/adderall combo, for me, would be TOO stimulating & ruin the effects of either). the h/a combo was better for me at least, but i still prefer the two on their own, because they kind of cancel each other out too much for my liking.
