My snoo is I just got offered a permanent position at the publishing company where I've been an intern since...this monday. I'm SO happy, it's my dream job. Best part is they've got offices in London as well so I can just transfer there once I leave Paris at the end of the summer. It's all perfect!
Never expected this =D =D =D
 
Was pissed and stoned as a newt couple of weeks ago, fell flat on my face and broke my screen on the phone.
Didnt bother to get it fixed, and what a relief ! its like I have my own life back, didnt realise how attached some people get to their phones

Better off without one

But yeah I'm really glad about this :) It's just not knowing what to do next is the only concern.
Oh! And I've used some vocals that a mate of mine's Mum recorded for me years ago, which I'm going to put in an EP which I will call "Garage Extension" (they'll all be in a UK Garage style as I've been making such tracks with such a genre for tiiiiime now, so I reckon it will be a good 4-or-5 track EP :) ).
So it's creative buttons GOOOOOOOOO!!!!.... at present :D

What an absolute gorgeous summers day. Tempted to go out in the sun but need tunes! Honestly don't think I've ever smiled so much in my life for this length of time. Full stretch smile =D I must look a picture.
 
I'm out in Central Europe mate. It's about 28 degrees just now. Haven't been out at all today in it though. When I go for some booze will be my Vitamin D for the day =D

I will look as a national disgrace to the public. Look forward to that =D

Not that Solstice pedantry makes that much sense now that we don't have proper seasons, but it fucks me off just a tiny bit to hear people mentioning 'summer' every time the sun comes out from April onwards. Especially in Britain. It probably sells more ice creams or summat, but Mr. Whippy and Signor Sivori can starve for all I care.

I'm aware that this is somewhat excessive on my part, but spring is spring and summer is summer. Even when the weather doesn't quite work out that way. This is also a mite excessive on my part:

You make a fine point. One that I cannot argue with. Personally I'm rarely entirely sure of what month it is let alone which season so kinda play it by ear ;)

"Summer" is a bit of a nebulous concept these days though. In fact all the seasons are. Seems to be virtually random these last few years. "Summer" seems to have shifted more towards the end of the year now. Subjective summer seems to be more like from the middle of "proper" summer into what was once autumn.

You're quite right - it really is a shitty thing to get wound up about, given the fucked-up nature of our 'seasons' these days. But yeah, it seems to be warmer than ever right up until October nowadays.

I just wish the days didn't get so short, but that's the price we pay for not having secured a hemisphere-hopping lifestyle by now. Shame on us.
 
Booze run complete. Was a very hot, floaty and colourful short journey! Sweating like a bitch after that!
 
Went to see some friends today, not seen em in over a year and a half. One was in bed, so me and t'other one sat in his shed smoking spliffs and watching standup DVDs. At one point he said to me 'I'm sure that clock's said quarter past six for the past hour' and I commented that maybe he'd been living the same hour over and over. He said to me 'well if you told me I had to repeat one hour of a father's day where I don't have to go to work and I can sit and get high with one of my friends then I'd say bring it on!', really made me smile <3
 
Somebody unwittingly reminded me that a lil exercise is not such a bad thing when it comes to dealing with back pain and the like so have been doing me stretching exercises the physio gave me ages ago that I'd stopped bothering with ages ago all week. Tonight was the first time I could bend far enough to touch the ground in front of me and can get down more or less to me ankle leaning to one side and halfway down me shin on t'other. This may not sound like much of an achievement to y'all but given how limited my movement has been of late it really is so definitely snoo'd about it =D

And no, before anybody says it, it's not that I couldn't touch me toes due to being a bit of a chubber it's cos my back muscles are so fukkin twisted and contorted recently I can barely move at times :p
