Whilst this isnt a benzo, this is the nearest thread i could find in eadd


Chlorpromazine (Thorazine/Largactil)

has anyone used it for off label uses - eg for treating insomnia, or just relaxing of an evening, or calming down weed anxiety/paranoia like with benzos ?

Ive only bought 1 strip and plan to use them very occassionally........
 
Oh wow that's an antipsychotic isn't it? Don't they use that to treat schizophrenia?
I don't have any experience with it - I'm sure it would calm you down but I'm just going to recommend you be careful, those aren't necessarily the smartest meds to abuse :\

Honestly just cheeck out the wikipedia page and the list of things it's used for in treating schizophrenia - I don't think giving that to a healthy person would be very safe.
 
Largactil has pretty unpleasant side effects. If you've been to a psych ward and seen patients drooling and speaking unintelligibly it's not because they're nuts, at least not directly!

i would plan on throwing them away like now. Nasty.
 
ok, ive listened, but i think its all dose related. People who are having a manic psychotic episode get given 1000- 2000 mg whilst i took half a 50mg pill, it does feel like a benzo in some respects. I definately will not be caining these. I will just be keeping them for self medicating in emergencies, like being unable to sleep for 10 nights, or having a proper panic or paranoia attack.
 
Does anyone know are Zepose 10mg blues any good? Not planning them for recreation or anything just 3 to get to sleep after stims. And the Zepose are what's most easily available to me..
 
Zepose are usually white in blisters..Zepose by Cipla yeah?

IMO, and I used them for a year or so, they can vary from 2-3mg, to 7-8mg.

the batches don't vary much....if all your blisters are from the same batch (check the batch no) they will likely be consistently dosed.

It's a bit fucking annoying though when you have a batch of 7-8mg ones, and the next batch you order are about 2-3mg.

I was on 50-100 a day for a while if it's sleep you are seeking I would look else where, they didn't help with my insomnia at all.

You are correct about dosage in that some are dose up with the liquid at 500mg +, they get the shuffle and the mask like face that is sometimes associated with mental health institutions.

If you're having problems with psychosis or, like I was just off the rails in terms of your view of the world it can dumb things down and help settle you but not in the way benzos do. I took myself off the stuff as I really did not like the way it made me feel and ultimately it was hampering my progress but for a while they did help.

It isn't really something I would self medicate with but at 50mg you'll get a good idea of the effects, if your paranoia is getting out of hand you may find them useful, there is no abuse potential that I can foresee so it has that going for it
 
tbh i regret buying those pills now. Could have got more opinions before buying like most people.

Thankfully it wasnt an expensive mistake as they cost less than a pack of 10 cigs. I'll try them once for insomnia and once for cannabinoid anxiety/racing thoughts etc. If no use then I'll just flush the rest.

Is it allowable to talk about the prices of different benzoes ?

For instance why is phenazepam powder cheap as chips, whilst etiz powder is more expensive than gold (i think). I suppose they just charge whatever people will pay.

Diazepam in powder form is also available. Has anyone here tried that ?
 
Personal use prices are OK...I think.

I think the pricing is a combination of demand and availability. Pills are a better bet if you have any issue with self control, the temptation to do just a bit more is likely to lead to black outs, I lost about a week to a g of Phenaz:|
 
Had a tray of Xanax 5mg recently. Obviously not legit as Xanax is a brand name and I think the strongest they make are the 3mg bars. These were big round white tablets in a tray that actually said Xanax 5mg. Had to take them in halves, fucking lethal they were.

I would stay away from yellow and blue msjs entirely. Dodgy ime.
 
To be honest any MSJ 10 or 5mg that I've had within the past year probably have been fairly shite. The kind where there is no diaz taste until right in the center takes about x3 to get where you wanted. If they are cheap and you just want a few gos on a benzo they are alright. Clonazepam are what I'd recommend these days if you can get access to them, they seem to be much more accurate 2mg pills than the 10mg diazepam, although I guess it depends what you use them for. I use the Clonaz somewhat regularly (few times a week) for anxiety and also sleep/comedowns, the only problem is I struggle to wake up after any benzo , even more subtle ones like Clonazepam.

Although from harm reduction point of view might not be too smart as clonaz is quite a potent benzo.
