You may not know this but I do . A prescription is in fact a Contract between a DR. & a Pharmacist.

So when a really fukin unusual one comes in like your 336 Clonazepam he or she should be straight on the phone to the DR. asking what the fuck he/she is doing .

Especially if this is the same place where you get your other medication . It might feel like Xmas atm but don't take it for granted because sooner or later your DR. will go on holiday & another one will have to fill your script & they may not be insane & it won't be the DR. that suffers it will be you .

I have had this happen to me in the past when i was getting 40ml of Temazepam 10mg/5ml Linctus & 120mg of Diazepam a day . Thought i had it made till the DR. went on holiday & his partner saw the script . Guess who ended up getting shafted ?

Oh i see you have a thick Pharmacist as well , what were the odds of that.

An inept GP yeah believable , an inept GP & Pharmacist nah not so much .

Hang on 1st you say the pharmacist triple checks everything then your saying he is thick , if your going to tell stories at least be consistent .

Yeah i've heard of them .

84 in one go is a Big fukin lick . When i was on 12 blues a day they made me come in mon,weds, fri . I did get the Temazepam Linctus weekly mind & that is a controlled Drug .

That was in the 90s though .

In the currant climate with all the constant notices from GMC that DR.s get about not prescribing Benzo's at all you have to admit it sounds sketchy as fuk .
If anything happened to you as a result of this irresponsible prescribing your family would have grounds to get this GP struck off at the very least .

Anyway yeah Happy days :)

I'm scared when I begin to taper again, and I'm wondering whether - when it comes to the last 1mg Diazepam dose - if I should request for a solution to be made (I've spoken to a GP - Not my regular one but the 2nd loveliest) or just snap my 2mg tablets in half.
A solution would be more accurate, as I've read with tablets that you just can't with certainty know that you're going to have half the dose of the medication in question...

Hmmm.... Well it's not going to be for a while yet, I'll proverbially cross that proverbial bridge when I proverbial come to it.... proverbially.... [8)]

Brimz is right though matey: When a new GP comes along they're going to look at your script, look at you, look at your script again, look at you again and then talk about the swift action of you (i.e. order you to) taper immediately :\

Fair shout , i would be the same .

Over the years i've been on here i've heard some proper Tall stories so you can understand my suspicions .
 
yea I nevr notice the 2 witness boxes hadn't bn initialled ,mad eh but I did say pharm was not sharpest tack in the box but im bein careful 3 a day is more than enuf plus I was skint not now ,so ill prob ask him to reduce to 8 a day next month gigves 3 to me 5 spares plus happy doc ,sorry for sounding so condescending or whatever bit I know my doc and chemist so had a good idea it would pass under radar if I was a methadone patient different story that would have flagged up instantly but im not getting in too deep till I see how long the golden goose lays for :) that chemist is not interested in patients only cash , I walked out with 20 100mcg fent patches and my 200mg of oxy and extra box of 10mg oxycontin , I walked bk in gave him extra 10mg, the 40s and 20s I was prescribed before fent and told him it was 10 50mcg and 10 25 mcg plus 8 x20mg oxynorm(daily
) I was due , could have kept em ,more hassle next time tho ! very very careless guy!
