How frequent use and in what doses TYPICALLY lead to negative comedowns?

It has been 2 moths since my first MDMA experience and I'm thinking to take it again soon.
There was no real ''back-end'' just a subtly pleasant afterglow.

I don't think I got the full experience but it was worth it nevertheless. It definitely felt like weight has lifted off my shoulders as others have put it. And it did change me for the better.

Reading the forum makes it clear, MDMA abuse can mess people up - cognition problems, poor memory, anxiety, depression..
Which would be totally counterproductive to my intention.
I have to approach this as careful as possible, I definitely want to avoid these issues.

It's necessary to do a cost benefit analysis when it comes to substances that can potentially cause devastating effects if abused.
The initial dose had a great aspect of benefit, now not so much as I have come to a realization that there is not much to learn anymore from an mdma induced state,
I know what I have to do to fix most of the problems that are constantly bugging me and keeping me depressed/hopeless.
Now it would be more for fun, I don't want to deceive myself into thinking I have to take MDMA to fix my issues.
So the ''benefit'' has lessened and the ''cost'' has probably increased.

Well my question is -
Is a 2 month break long enough to avoid a bad comedown and rather have an afterglow like I had before?
Keep in mind this will only be my second experience and I don't plan to take much, max 120mg.

I'd appreciate your input.

(English is not my first language so please excuse the bad articulation. I was kinda beating around the bush and not really finishing what I intended to write)

Don't worry English is not my first language too and your English is fineeee :). Your dose and your timeline is ok and make sure you test your product.

Note that the people that have been through these "comedowns" have all the more reason to be outspoken about it. It is not a common occurrence in ecstasy users by any stretch of the imagination.

2 months is fine, I typically like 6 weeks or around 45 days to be the normal amount of time I wait. 3 months is what is said to be the best, but IMO it's a little too long to wait for the average user. 120mg max is rather low, IMO. Eventually you may want to bump that up to 150mg or something... depends entirely on what you want, though. Re-dosing is probably much more damaging than taking 30mg more at once ;)

Yeah. I personally feel so much better when I take 200mg at once, than any kind of redosing. If you want to make the experience last longer and be more powerful take more at the beginning, redosing is just extending the comedown and playing with your brain chemistry...

I wait 1 month, and the comedowns aren't unbearable at all, it actually just feels nice to be back in reality.

With all my HR knowledge, I can manage to roll each 2-3weeks on 120-150mg for 3 months straight, without much of a tolerance growth except it doesn't feel near as good as it could with proper longer breaks. Then usually I hit the bad long term comedown (that lasts several weeks) and that's the alarm to stop binging, then I take a 2-3months break and get back into that habit. I never redosed, and from the looks of it, it isn't worth it.

The truth is that the answer is different for everybody. Some people can take large doses every month and not have any problems at all. Others suffer bad comedowns if they take MDMA more than four or five times per year. People who suffer bad comedowns ALMOST ALWAYS:

Take large doses (over 150 mg)

Take breaks shorter than three months between doses.

In your case a two month break is PROBABLY sufficient. I've done it. Can't guarantee you an afterglow though.
