I could drink beer for the rest of my life and have no problems. but really why bother..

That's funny because I came in here to post my rule of 'nothing good happens after 2am' which is why I advise against drinking past that time.

Another rule is to never drink when you are upset or mad to begin with. Trying to escape from your troubles by drinking usually leads to more problems usually from becoming an angry drunk.

Day drinking should be avoided if you have trouble limiting your intake. Most of my blackouts have occurred from starting the festivities during the day, and continuing to drink into the night.
