Also had a two handy cancellations this week. DSP cancelled yesterday which was handy as I was an hour late anyway. NobCentre phoned earlier and cancelled on me appointment for next week too. That's twice they've done that giving me an extra month without having to pretend to be interested in their shitey courses.

My best friend was at a party last night that my ex happened to be at. He cheated on me with a friend of mine and left me for her and was just a comlpete prick overall despite us being together for almost 3 years, was left heartbroken, he didn't give a fuck, blablablabla. Anyway, he was just dumped, and he asked her about me. She said I was doing great, that she'd never seen me so happy and that I'd met a new guy who was awesome and hot etc etc, really piling it on. (Most of that isn't true but who cares, that's besides the point). Apparently he looked really really disappointed and didn't talk for the rest of the night.

Omg yeah, you just can't imagine how absolutely ecstatic I am right now =D
I had to wait a year but I knew he had to pay for it eventually!
 
What goes around and all that. Always pleasing to see somebody getting back exactly what they deserve. And perfectly acceptable to be pleased about it cos it's surely teaching them a valuable life lesson as well as being hilarious :D

It comes at the exact right time too, seeing as I just got over him. So I can enjoy the whole thing to its maximum potential =D
 
That's great Pagey.I really hope he felt like he didn't know what he had until he lost it.
Nothing worse than when you've been with someone for a few years and you trust them 100% and then they go and cheat on you.
It really does feel like someone has ripped yr heart out and it would be very difficult if possible at all to trust that person to the same level ever again.
Good on you girl for not staying with him and letting him think it's ok to do that to someone.
A big pat on the back to your friend for laying it on about how happy you are now etc.
 
Really hope so. I spent the whole of this past year moaning about him and feeling horrible about myself and thinking I must be a disgusting person for him to say some of the things he did (I don't want to go into it but he was truly awful at times). I was so sure he'd forgotten everything about me and my friends kept telling me that in a year or two he'd realise what he had missed etc. etc. Turns out they were right!
And yeah, I really owe my friend one! She hated him at the time and said she loved every second of it last night. I'm buying her a drink in celebration later haha.

Kenny, how do you deal with the tragedy of seeing so many homeless cats? I got my cat from a shelter, first one I've ever been to as an adult, and it nearly broke my heart. It was a really fantastic shelter, too, so I can't begin to imagine visiting a public one. I send them money but the thought of all the cats I couldn't take home still plagues me. :(

Suppose that depends on what version of karma you go in for. Some would say that even if it seems like somebody never gets their reward or slapdown they actually do but in a different life. I tend not to agree. It's great when things seem to work out nicely balanced but in truth they really don't much of the time.

urgh thought this baccy was fake cos it was making my head spin, but put it down to the fact i hardly smoke and thought it was a head rush, just compared it to a genuine pouch and its lighter, wonder how much damage that shit has done

As previously mentioned, I don't really go in for astrology but I must admit that I do tend to agree with the traits associated with my own star sign and do seem to have big problems with Scorpiofolk. Admittedly I only know I know two Scorpios so is a somewhat limited pool of reference.

Was wondering if you may also be a Scorpio seeing as it's the one you don't agree with. Then I saw that Aquarii "enjoy sucking cock" and after your revelations in t'other thread am guessing you must be Aquarius =D
