What "subgenre" are you? V. Grebos, the crusties and the goths

Great album, but also one of the the most beautiful covers:

Wow. <3 <3

Fuck, my grandad used to love the Dubliners..

I always thought they looked like creaking old bags of shit.

Now, looking at that photo, I see them as a bunch of blokes I'd probably like to go on the piss with. And they're even dressed pretty cool too.

And they don't look old at all.

Being female, I hate to admit that you are indeed correct. Men, however, seem to get better with age

If they can keep the middle aged spread at bay, nasal and eyebrow hairs plucked or trimmed, and retain some vestige of muscle tone, possibly. What a ball ache all that is though. I draw the line @ looking like the wild man of Borneo or Noel glallagher though (many people think hes the same person).

My belly fluctuates by 2 stone every 18 months or so, depending whether its been a stims phase or opis phase. Opis make me crave chocolates like fuck.

Also i remember watching Taxi Driver recently when De Niro was a young guy, much younger than me. On all other viewings he had been much older than me.

Yes, very true, they do need to keep some semblance of shape. I think grey hair looks nice on guys. I think that's why I used to fancy all my school teachers!

I'm in complete agreement. I think females peak at 17 and males at 35. Those are averages of course. I liken women to fragile, fleeting blossoms and men to bold, astringent red wine.

I'm essentially a prep, I even attended the archetypal American prep school. I've trended toward haute couture somewhat in recent years, which is really just a more unique, snobby form of classic prep. Throw in a dash of hippie (messy hair, flowing skirts, little or no makeup) and some Victorian feminity (corsets, velvet, lace, frills etc). Most of the time I dress quite simply, I always match and generally wear little jewelry or a few distinctive but not outrageous pieces. My best colours are navy and grey, but I also wear purple, pink, green, red, most shades of blue, black and white. Cool shades only. I don't do trends.

Edit: could someone explain the terms grebo and crusty?
