Besides the "giving up" part, that's not a bad way to think about it. Don't force things. You may still need to initiate things, yes, but you don't need to focus on finding someone all the time. Sometimes, when you stop looking, that's when you find someone.

sometimes you stop looking and then you wake up 10 years later and are like "WTF man, I fucked myself over soooo hard"
 
lol No, really it's that I am traditional in a lot of ways. I do like a man to be a man. That's just never going to change about me. I've never asked a guy out and don't plan to. It's one of my standards.

awww, seriously, SS there are so many losers out there that it takes time. Take it from me who is extremely picky, and that is mostly because I really hate wasting my time with them so I ignore 99% of the men who flirt with me. You're actually doing the right thing by just chatting up as many girls as possible. You're a good looking guy too, so you'll run into a girl who isn't a flake. I promise you will if you keep trying like you are. The dating scene sucks sometimes. Don't let the losers get you down like that.

Its funny, I am struggling with this online dating shit, and give it up. What do I do?

Meet chicks IRL !!

1. Nina - got a job at my work and will now be my late night bus riding partner.

2. Trish - met her at the art festival. she's from chicago, so I didn't ask for her number. she stuck by my side the whole time and I gave her my fb info, knowing she wouldnt add me. Got a request today saying thats the first thing she did when she got off the plane. That is was meant to happen. We share all the same music taste which is rare as fuck.

3. tattoo chick - some tall long legged chick had a badass tattoo on her leg that had a bandaid. I asked her "nice tat, but did they fuck it up?" she told me a huge storya bout how she hurt it baby sitting by stabbing herself with a pen. i look up and she is like 3CM from my face and al up in my bubble. I didnt get her number cuz i didnt really know where else to go from there but it was an ego booster.

4. chick on sidewalk - 10/10 would bang, i was appraching her on the sidewalk and she was on her phone, but looked up at me and smiled big as if to say "I would totally fuck you". I dunno how I could have stopped her and engaged since we were walking opposite directions but... Ego booster.

Ok I feel better now. theres hope. 2 new prospect and 2 new ego boosters = progress..

How is everyone? I have been feeling a little depressed for some reason lately so I haven't been here very much. I sat out in the sunshine for a long time today and drank some great Summer Shandy, so I feel a little bit better at the moment. Really warm weather cannot come fast enough for me....

Yeah it'd be nice for a real summer to come soon. Been kinda depressed too as of late but I swear as soon as we start to get some sun and I can go out in my tshirts and stuff I'll be the happiest person on the planet.
