Do you not like tea?

Is the Stork stuff not "baking marge"? It's nasty stuff whatever it is. QI say oldskool marge was banned and surely Stephen Fry wouldn't lie about such things ;)

Actually I would tend to put quite a bit of faith in QI "facts" if only for the uber-pedantry of the viewers. Should see some of the arguments on the website 8o

Also, did you consider your tea connoisseurship an affliction, Mr B? You seem glad to be rid of it. Had it gotten to the IV stage before you got clean?

I believe I'm having actual scones tonight, made by my own fair hand of course. in my new flat haha. I guess we'll be supping lady grey with it since that's the only tea I have at the moment.

The taste seems nothing special to me don't really see what the fuss is all about, tastes a bit earthy, not really in a good way. I can drink the stuff but my stomach seems to hate it; end up really nauseous about 10 mins after if I ever do have any.

Love the taste, but can't tolerate caffeine, so had to stop drinking it.

I Mix Builders with yogi tea classic, that way I get the strong taste with the great eastern spices.

There is even a tea now by Tetley IIRC, that has an extra 60mg caffiene added,so it gives you a coffee hit in a teabag

Genius

Probabaly the tannins, I get the same with Green tea or White tea. Always made me feel like throwing up

Just end up drinking it after food at lunch instead and that way i found its way gentler on the stomach.

Tea and E in the morning is an old favourite of mine at all night/next morning parties.

Interestingly Ive eaten bacon about once or twice since I left the UK 2 years ago. Not a fan of it anymore!

For the record, I wouldnt call myself a brit. It makes me think of those strange people with the bunting that celebrate royal weddings and sorts....

The one time I tried Chai tea it was quite nice, in the morning one day at boomtown festival and I thought it was amazing. Was tripping at the time tho.

Find that tea tastes way better when the water isnt boiled.

Water in cup, add teabag
Nuke in microwave for 90 seconds( by this time it should not have boiled), should be nice and red/ruby
Stir and add milk , the tea will be a nice reddish shade now, at THIS point you can warm it up if you want, but not really advised.

Fantastic cuppa

Sounds like that'd extract more of the actives from the tea. I bet it feels better than a normal brew. To be fair, it's tea, how good can you feel from it? It's not exactly crack (although, a lot of old people treat it as such). :)

I am a tea FANATIC; I import Tetleys since the tea selection available in German grocery stores (and US ones also for that matter) is weak and crap.

I also like coffee, though more for the effects. The caffeine types/isomers in tea & coffee are quite different but I enjoy them both. :)

(Tea without milk can make me nauseated, coffee black and most green teas also. Quite common for many.)

How do you all take your tea? I like mine with whole milk and honey.
