Do you consider oral sex to be "sex"?

I got an interesting question to ask the BL/SLR community, and I want to hear what you all really think. A poll on this thread would be excellent (thanks in advance).

My question is.... do you consider oral sex to be sex? Meaning, do you consider it to be having sex as much as you would fucking a vagina or ass?

I have heard people take the Bill Clinton stand on this (that it it is not sex), whereas I actually believe it to be sex.

I'm curious if you all consider oral sex to be on the same level as making out/groping, or to be between making out/groping and actual sex, or to be on par with actual sex.

The poll can just be "yes; oral sex IS sex" or "no; oral sex IS NOT sex" to keep it simple.

I DID use the search engine, and it came up with nothing useful. The search engine isn't perfect. All the results on the first page had nothing similar in the title.

Negative. Cheating generally is having sexual relations with someone else, whilst still in an exclusive relationship if i am not mistaken? I am a bad man. It started to sting after about 5 or 6 days from memory. I went to the doc after about 2 weeks. Maybe earlier/later i dunno, i was pretty fucked up at the time. Anyway, this isn't the chlamydia thread is it

But yes IMO oral sex definitely qualifies as sex. I've got a friend who if she only does oral with a guy, will refer to it as 'doing stuff' with him rather than sex...it's really funny.

No, I would not consider oral 'sex', but like somebody said- if I were in a relationship and they either gave/ received oral from somebody else, then I would consider that cheating.
