I remember banging water with a bit of vinegar just to inject something and get the taste of h. it was awful times in my life...

Yup...it disgusts me how I've gone from being terrified of needles in general to loving them as much as the drugs.

Yeah, ive never minded needles much myself, even when i was a little kid my grandma says i always surprised the nurses with how calm i was whenever i got shots, but it was never the fascination that it is now. Almost romanticized. When i was in rehab one time this chick wrote a love letter to heroin, but it was really almost entirely about the actual process of shooting up. When she was done reading it every junkie in the room remarked on how beautiful it was (thats right, beautiful. Shooting up. And i agreed). She compared the blood registering to a deep red lotus flower blooming. People dont write shit like that about snorting stuff
 
Never have and never want to. Seen it fuck up to many lives way to fast. Plus I'm a natural skinny fuck so if I injected I wouldn't last very long lol. I do have really nice veins though....ahhh maybe one day when I'm 80 and have nothing to live for :P

It's easier when you're thin like I am.

There aren't a lot of drugs worth IVing IMO, but DMT is the #1 drug worth IVing. %)

Yup. I've heard that story 100 times. That's why when I hear heroin users who just snort it or something say, "I'd never shoot man, I'm scared to death of needles." I just shake my head.. Hah. Suurree you won't start injecting..
 
They have a special clinic here where they use these machines to find veins on hardcore drug users that have been injecting forever and have lost all visible veins. My heroin dealer told me she had to go to one of those to get a shot/blood sample taken. So I've been told at least.

oh and the answer is yes by the way, I do inject though it's more of an exclusive thing these days, happens every other month.

edit: damn the results were not what I expected. I expected something like 70/30 (70% who doesn't inject that is)
 
I can totally relate a female friend of mine who dosent IV is married to a heroin addict and she says when she wants to turn him on she makes sure theres a point involved and she has actually had sex holding one and using it on him.

I've tried a couple vein-finders. They def work but the good ones are really expensive and the chances of some dope fiend spending money that could be used for smack on anything like that is incredibly slim.. Hah.
 
i USED to inject...quit for five years. relapsed one year ago with oxy but now, anything i get, including smack (my second fave. oxycodone takes the cake these days) i use orally (unless it's a fent patch which i wear as directed or smack, which i usually make monkey water, mix some crushed klonopin, which i am prescribed, (half a .5mg pill) which helps keep the stuff in my nose since we all know you don't want to snuff H back like coke.
 
I've tried (and failed) at least twice. Each time, I had a perfectly prepared, micron-filtered shot of ~4mg of Dilaudid, ready to go...

Will all the adrenaline pumping through my body from trying to find a decent vein with all the myriad of its own potential complications to deal with on top of what I found myself doing for the first time. Thought I had a decent idea of what I was doing until I had problems finding a suitable vein that wouldn't roll (bad technique), and out of fear of possible life-threatening complications I ended up just 'plugging' it. Didn't really seem a good idea with all the oxy still in my system... I like to think I have a decent idea of what being introduced into the world of intravenous injections entails, but I guess that's one of those things you can never fully understand til you've been there... From what I've personally seen, I really have no desire to get into that world...

... Not entirely sure if anything I just made sens, I've had a few bars in me over the past few hours... WUTEVER DYOOD.
