^ totally! I loved how he (teh guv) just stood there and sneered when he was fired at, didnt even move hardly. Dude was in bloodlust mode +1.

And Glenn, stepping up is very cool to see even if it was fueled by a need for revenge.
 
I don't understand the argument between Camilla and Glen.

All human interactions on this show are bizarre, but not in an interesting way.

I wish they'd do something meaningful with Michonne. She's just a glowering katana-wielding automaton.
 
Sunday really is my favorite night.

This week's episode was perfect TWD.

The old familial history of abuse between Darryl and Merle. Merle showed a lot of concern for his brother in a short scene there.

Hershel speaking to Rick through the fence while he's out the field. He knows he's lost and he just cannot get it together. I believe this fire fight will pull him back together, though.

And, 23536, Camilla = Maggie? I talked it over with a friend before the latest episode and at first I thought it was because he felt like "less of man", because he was not able to protect her from the Governor. But, after the latest, did it seem like he was almost disappointed in her for giving up the jail? Or was that just her projecting on to him? They're two teenagers in a zombie apocalypse, it's hard to decipher emotions clearly.

I have it DVRed, and I think I'm probably going to watch it again. I was actually yelling at the Governor when he was just standing there, fearless, at the end.

the last couple episodes have been smashing. they're doing a great job in making the Governor such a hated antagonist, just like in the comic books. in the show, the Governor is more of a subtle bastard, while in the books he is more of an in-your-face type of bastard. but a bastard nonetheless...

This is quite possibly my favourite season thus far. Just the right balance of action, character building, and gore for me. But I really detest Andrea. Honestly, I liked her sister a whole lot better. Every damn episode I just wanna slap her upside her stupid head. First she ditched Michonne, and now she's questioning where her loyalties lie through fear of being left on the shelf. It's looking like she's gonna stick with the Governor (which will make my blood boil even further), but I'm hoping I'm wrong in my assumption.

I wish they'd shed some light on the political philosophy behind his actions, instead of just making his actions seem like the products of a pathological mind. Many shows and movies make this mistake with their villians: whereas in life there are very few who are gratuitously evil, the screen is full of such people.
 
^To my mind, he's much like a Jim Jones type. I believe it was even mentioned in one of the episodes after I thought the same thing myself.
 
Did that last episode not include the governor or any of that other place or people? Was a very small cast in this latest episode, just rick, the son, and the black chick and that guy who helped rick at the start sometime when they split up and were going to try and stay in contact via the radio thing. Oh and zombies. Can't think of anyone else that was in it. I still enjoyed it, it just seemed a much smaller cast and different kind of format.
 
It was the calm before the storm. I guess we were expecting it all to blow up after the previous episode, but the next one will probably be all out action. It's nice to have a change of pace sometimes.
 
I really hope Andrea gets fucking eaten by a zombie while the Guv cums on her face. She's the worst character in this show, ever. I absolutely fucking hate her. The one interesting/good thing she did was blow her sister's brains out. Her involvement is enough to make me stop watching this show, which it has before. I also don't give a shit about Morgan. It was more interesting when he was just lost with no ending. Finally Michonne got some action. It was nice to see her little interaction with Carl. and her stupid cat thing. She's still just a katana wielding robot though. I doubt we're gonna see any development from at all, and they'll probably just kill her off. christ i'm in a pissy mood. sorry everyone. but i really do feel that way.

yeah, one theme I have seen perpetually pop up is how much Andrea sucks. and I do agree, on the show, Andrea does indeed suck very much. however, it's sad, because in the books Andrea is one of the most strong and assertive characters in its cast. in the show the mere sight of Andrea's pouty duck face is grounds for me to start getting heated! while in the comic, she holds her own and is a strong female character that all young ladies would presumably look up to, were they in their world of a zombie apocalypse. at first, I thought that this show would slowly transmogrify Andrea into said bad-ass, just like the comic did. but it looks like that is not where their plans are heading...

yeah, I see where you are coming from. at first, the Governor looks like he could just be another one of those villains who simply just yearn for more and more power, and would do anything to expand the long arm of his law. but essentially, we have to remember that this is a guy who used to watch severed zombie heads in place of his TV set at night, well during episodes of feeding his zombified daughter the fresh-killed remains of no-doubt former citizens of Woodbury. in short, the Governor is mad

I really digged that last TWD episode...

no Andrea + no Woodbury + no Governor = solid fucking showing

I'm not saying that ALL of the above are bad, but it was nice to take a break from the show's main dramatic element, and do a little aside as to showing how Michonne has become one of "them"

I'm really looking forward to the next couple episodes. in the comics this Prison/Governor arc was the seminal story line of the medium. it seems like this show is doing it right, as opposed to the snoozefest of last season, and I hope that they wrap everything up well

I like that they're giving her more human interactions. She's obviously going through some PTSD and prison life has been therapeutic for her.

But, I think it was jarring when she referred to some item she looted from the bar as "cute". Is this a glimpse into who she was before the apocalypse hardened her? It seemed so forced, and I had a hard time putting it into any context. But maybe the actress is limited, or maybe the director was stifling her tone.
