no thats not going to happen. sorry dude, dont carry strips outside of their packaging or make a container to hold them in.

and its kind of gross walking around the hall with bare feet. I'm assuming it's a dorm? its cool man not gonna judge.

so here's my question. I've used up all my veins to suboxone i.v.ing, so I recently switched to injecting into my arterys. does anyone have any advice on how to make it hurt less when I inject and how to reduce swelling after? for some reason the subs only last 4 hours when I inject them intraarterially, so I have to boot up times a day on average, usually 8mg a shot. I've heard about injecting directly into the bone marrow and that it works just as good as i.v. so if anyones done that let me know.

jk. but seriously here's my question, i.v. users, what do you prefer? tablets or strips? I reckon the strips are safer but I've been getting the pills and paying more per month for the copay on the tabs. everyone ive talked to hates the strips, but I think they snort them (idiots). can anyone give me some advice? I rarely shoot them (4 times a month) but when I do I love the feeling of 2mg i.v., especially if my tolerance is low from taking 2mg in the morning and 2mg at night.

does anyone else notice that the effects you get from suboxone are pretty erratic? If I do 2mg one day and 2mg the next day I could feel high as shit the one day and not feel anything the next day, just normal. I see no real pattern, just good effects on some days none on the other. been on em for 18 months but cut back from 16mg a day to 4.

Capt Heroin stole the words straight out of my mouth. We have been talking about how naloxone with bupe is virtually inactive on BL for ages, I really dont think ROA has anything to do with it.

Agreed. The only time naloxone is active when used in a bupe/naloxone combination (Suboxone) is when you swallow your suboxone pill/strip/solution after swishing the saliva and a bit of water in your mouth, making sure all the bupe is absorbed, but naloxone is inactive (due a low bioavailability) through the sublingual route.

So, after making sure my bupe solution with a sip of water is fully absorbed in my mouth my swishing to absorb through all the mucous membranes in your mouth (gums, inner lips, etc.) for 5-10min, I make sure to swallow my solution, since naloxone has a 90% BA through the oral route (it works as an antagonist on the PNS opioid receptors, causing no CNS opioid antagonism. Why would I want an PNS opioid antagonist in the first place? Well, like you guys said, Suboxone is pretty damn constipating. ;) Swallowing the naloxone makes your body go in to a mini-wd for about 20 min while your brain feels chill as fuck, while your body feels kinda neutral, but you can finally go to the bathroom during the 30min naloxone is active! :D

manman... nice fiber PSA BUT I wanted to mention that if you're already into a serious bout of constipation, like it's been more than 10 days since you've gone, loading up on fiber isn't the best idea since at that time you're too backed up for it to work properly. Long durations with no BM should be treated with laxatives/enemas or whatever, something that will just do the job quickly. From there on, I agree it's important to keep a high fiber intake.

The more fiber you eat, the more water you need to drink, just like an equation. :) If you eat too much fiber and keep your water the same, the fiber actually solidifies in your bowels, since insoluble fiber (the good stuff found in grains and whole wheat) doesn't actually dissolve in your bowels, coming out unabsorbed, so if you keep eating too much fiber relative to your water intake, you will have stomach pains and will pass gas at the minimum, and fecal impaction (which can be fatal after about 7-10 days) at the worst case scenario. I agree with you, btw.

On that same note, to the dude who hadn't had a bowel movement for 10 days, get your ass (no pun intended :sus: :D) to an urgent care/Emergency Room/Accident & Emergency Hospital (UK) ASAP!! You haven't gone for 10 days? That can be fatal; it might be embarrasing at the ER, but who cares? It's your life they'll save.

Wait, were you joking about injecting suboxone into your arteries!??

If that is true, you really need to stop doing that immediately. Shooting into your arteries is so fucking dangerous and harmful to you're well being that if this is true, you will very possibly die or develop some serious health issue. And injecting suboxone into your bone marrow just sounds stupid as fuck-like the opposite of harm reduction.

ya I was messing about. I heard from a friend bone marrow injections work but thats because he's an emt and has only done it under supervision of a doctor during training, outside of the hospital it sounds disastrous.

I remember reading somewhere that somebody actually had resorted to i.a.ing on purpose. I figure there's always veins, if there weren't you'd be dead.

I was on 40mg of methadone and got tired of it so told my mmt doc that I had heard of a drug called subutex after calling the methadone alliance and could I be put on that instead as I hated the stigma of methadone, he called the chemist to get them in then changed my script to subutex, can't remember the dose but was low, nowhere near the 8 mg in fact possibly under 2mg but not to sure, anyways I got my script and just took the subs the next day no waiting 36 or 48 hrs after my last dose of meth. I took theme way they are meant to be taken and I felt no withdrawals whatsoever and only dosed once a day and that held me all day and night, I thought they were a godsend as I was on meth for being addicted to dihydrocodeine not heroin, so I guess I was buzzing at the fact I was meth free and no more of taking it.

I don't know why other people on here have to dose multiple times a day going by my experience of the drug but I also know everyone is different and may hav a higher opiate tolerance than myself.

This was a good 6 or 7 years back, so now I think they only prescribe suboxone now due to the subutex being abused.
Hope that helps

Okay, I have a question. I've read countless hours on here and I've read the sub mega-thread. I think I have information overload.

So, if I cut my strip (say 2mg) into tiny pieces, insuffulate, and backwash with h20, am I going wrong somewhere? I mean, no question it works, but sometimes I feel like I didn't get enough.

Someone enlighten me!

Well first of all, what are you trying to get out of this? Are you looking for a euphoria/recreational effect from the suboxone?

Only if you snort the coke through your anus

Classy. Ha.

Can u do coke if your on suboxone treatment

Yes you can.. it's not like an opiate where the effects will be blocked, etc. Though, from a mental addiction stand point... it's probably not a good idea. :\ Most doctors also aren't going to be too keen on you testing positive for cocaine either..

I have a very specific question. Before I ask, and before you answer, let me explain.

I HAVE SEARCHED THE FORUMS AND ALL SPECIFIC RELATED THREADS EXTENSIVELY!!
So PLEASE DO NOT answer my question with a link to a thread, UNLESS you know for absolute FACT that the answer to my question is in that thread. So, my question is...

I've been injecting the white round Subutex, but I can't really get them to dissolve really well. I always have to take my shot, then keep redoing whatever is left in the spoon until its finally gone, because it wont all dissolve at once for some reason.

So does anyone know how to COMPLETELY dissolve Subutex PILLS (White round generics) for injection??

I've heard of vinegar, but haven't tried it yet, because I don't wanna take it as gospel. Plus I've read in the injection safety manual that vinegar may not be best for your veins. I dont know of any other liquids people use for injection. I also heat my solution, which requires me to add more water than I'd like, but it doesnt matter, half of the medicine is still in the spoon afterward and the chunks are too big to get into my syringe. Because of all this medicine being left over, AND because of the heat, I start off with over 200 CC's of water, so NO, I do not need more water, that is not the answer to my question. I see everyone else on the forum talking about injecting their Subutex pills with no problem whatsoever, and I'm wondering how this is, and how nobody else has had the same problem as me. Atleast a couple of you have to know a solution to my problem.
