Missing that nostalgic "extra push" that Adderall Xr gives, but definitely not missing the pronounced peripheral effects (anxiogenic effects, vasoconstriction, mood-swings, etc). I am aware of the equivalency ratio in adderall for d-amp sulfate to dexedrine is approx. 3.75 : 5, so sometimes dosage goes up to as much as 20mg dexedrine spansule (sometimes titrating with 5mg IRs). Whereas previously, 20mg of Adderall XR would suffice.
However, the experience is still lacking in the hyper-focus aspect of Adderall that makes it such a great utilitarian stimulant. I've read many ideas and cocktails people try to make their script more similar to an adderall experience. But what I am seeking for is merely therapeutic (ADD) and utility tool and not recreational purposes, thus I want a combination (either with post/pre loading with supplements or cocktail with other substances) that has the least amount of side effects in comparison to Adderall.
IME, dexedrine has also been the best of all ADD medications and probably on the top three of favorite stims, but sometimes it can be too calming and euphoric for me to be as productive. I've tried both Concerta (overall shitty, left with migraines that persists throughout the day), and ritalin (too short-acting, but very good short sessions and getting mass amount of work done in a short period of time), before switched to adderall.
Would stacking caffeine with the spansules (tea, coffee, etc) be a good alternative? I've read it might increase propensity of neurotoxicity though. Also, why do people suggesting using chelated magnesium (as opposed to other types of magnesium) to supplement amps? And should it be only for post-experience, along with l-tyrosine, vita C, etc? I know that magnesium is used in general as pre-load supp to minimize bruxism and jaw-clenching. I know it's alot of questions at once, but any input is much appreciated. thanks BL community
