That's a really thoughtful and generous offer brimz thank you. However I once worked for RM over xmas and the way the boxes get chucked about in the sorting office I doubt it would reach me in one piece even with the best packaging and will in the world. I'll await the taunting pics and consider a family day out your way one weekend. Thanks again <3

Haha, sounds familiar! I became quite the expert at finding new places to balance plates while preparing food, opening the microwave door and using the top of that was always a trusty surface.

We had 12 people in our house so the kitchen was chaos pretty much all the time. One of my housemates found a plate covered by another place in the corner once, what was underneith was a massive blue mouldy mass. No idea what it was, he was so furious about it he demanded to know whos it was and when no one came forward he launched it out the kitchen window :D
 
Speaking of TV, new series of Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror starts on monday. If you didn't see the first series, it paints a disturbingly plausible dystopian future for society...And since Charlie's a god, he absolutely nails the series. I fully expect the next series to be just as brilliant.

He's also got a new series of TV Wipe atm, couldn't be more happy!
 
they probably reckon everybody loves a bit of fancy slow mo, makes it all classy

on the mention of games, i might crack on with far cry 3. or watch some netflix stuff. feeling proper rough, can hardly move

The Vet is coming at 12:15pm... :(

But she's a fucking trooper is Toffee - Was just sat for about an hour with her giving her gentle strokes.
Purring to the end (although very shallow breaths).

She's obviously so messed up though: She has no balance when she tries to walk, she uses the very least movement to get comfy, she was pawing at her own reflection in her waterbowl (maybe hallucinating), even if I place one biscuit infront of her nose she won't touch it.

... She's suffering so much and obviously we can't tell how much pain she's in, but she's not really "living" but just clinging on to life...
We've agreed that euthanasia is the kindest thing we can do so she won't suffer anymore.

Gunna sign off for the next few days. Don't reckon I'll want to do much at all after this.

Same here mate havent been drawn into a game like that for years, cant really get into them the same as i used to when i was a kid, FF7 etc, but far cry 3 drew me right in, amazing. not long got the wingsuit, dunno how far through i am

so sorry to hear that monstanoodle :( :( <3 bad times man

There's still quite a way to go yet Dan, I love the set pieces in the game, you would have done this by now so it's not a spoiler but the bit where you take on that massive black demon thing with a bow and arrow was epic. The scale of the map and size of the game is astonishing.

It was very peaceful - They gave her an IM sedative to begin with to calm her (prolly Midazolam or something) and she didn't like that lol - She made the most noise that she had done in weeks, but she was really calm very soon after.
After that I couldn't watch so I went upstairs and they gave her some Barbiturate and apparently she just slowly fell asleep.

I went back down when she had gone and stroked her, burst into tears and then went to get some boose to numb me while my bro buried her in the garden (we have done so for previous cats who have passed away).

But I'll always remember her like this...
