TRUMP...TRUTH.
So I've had one of these 4mg menthol Nicorettes for the first time. Feeling a burning sensation in my mouth and throat along with some dizzyness and light headness. Feels pretty nice though...is 4mg decent as study aid for someone who never had a cigarette before in his life? Don't got much experience since it's my first time.

thanks!

Wow...haha, I really couldn't drive for shit right now, I feel more dizzy than on codeine really ^__^

Yeah. Nicotine can get a naive user very very light headed/dizzy. Be careful, it's easy to take too much and get sick/nauseous and throw up. I've done it multiple times. Just try not to push it too much one you get to that dizzy state.

I recommend checking out the pharmacological profile of nicotine on the wiki page. It surprised me when I first read it, gave me some understanding to why it can be so addicting.

Cigarettes usually deliver about 2 mg of nicotine if you smoke the whole thing.

The burning sensation in your mouth is the nicotine, it irritates mucous membranes.
My advice: Use nicotine very, very sparingly or it will quickly become useless.

CIgarettes deliver __mgs but it's freebase nicotine as opposed to nicotine resin complex that you get in the gum. Nicotine can have you feeling to total shit, i'm surprised that you were ok eating a 4mg piece. I would say that dosage is way too high, but if it worked out alright then that's that i guess.

Slept for an hour, I sleep pretty well on the thing too, you're right on the dose, it made me feel sleepy.

Just did 2 more mg, this time it feels like ritalin basically lol...very strange.

Nicotine can have different effects at different dosages.

People into the drug nicotine can speculate about what dosages render which effects, I don't care to as nicotine isn't a drug I use.

Dude I can't do Heroin...I need to study my dick for this exam or I will have no dick. I get what you're trying to say but I just need something that doesn't make me wana bust nuts or nod.

nothing like having a coffee, doing some work and then having a smoke.. lol i know no one is going to recommend it but it (nicotine, tobacco) has its uses, mostly social for me and something to do during breaks. those inhalers suck though compared to an actual cigarette. That tobacco high wears off pretty quick after daily use but if that's what you're after look into doka, take a hit every now and then and you're good to go without smoking all that dirty regular tobacco. or try ecigs.

Nicotine is a terrible terrible habit. It is expensive and it kills you. If you want study benefits drink coffee.

This.
Nicotine, even for a naive user seems like it would be useless as a study aide. While caffeine isn't that great either, compared to other stimulants (even other legal OTC ones like propylhexadrine) its still far better than nicotine. I'm currently on my second day off of cigarettes and onto the gum, its really not a habit that you want to get into....so incredibly addictive with such little payoff.

Nicotine is weird, I don't know really what it does even after smoking for like 7 years. I will have a cigarette sometime before I go to bed, it makes me tired. I will have one when outside taking a walk, it gives me energy. I will have one in the morning and will realize all it did was make me dizzy.

Increases effect of all drugs except benzos and alcohol I think. Alcohol just makes me crave cigarettes but I don't really think they have any effect.

Sometimes I don't even know why I smoke, not addicted physically, never been. Just feels nice at certain moments, like when there is 7 minutes left before the bus/train arrives, at least I have something to do.

^yeah that's why i smoke, i mean wtf else are you going to do while waiting for the bus? There's just something inherently pleasurable about smoking (aside from that rush of dopamine) that keeps people smoking. I always hear people say how they hate smoking so much, well i actually still enjoy it, even after 8 years of it. It's just relaxing and it does help you focus even if for a brief amount of time. Not to mention the fact that you look cool as hell smoking :) biggest dowwnside for me is smelling like a dirty smoker, money and the inevitable health consequences if i keep going for the rest of my life.

it really isn't much of a study aid but shit the amount of people i've seen pick up smoking habits due to school stress is high, for whatever reason, it helps people relax and get back to studying and gives them a break to look forward to.
