Yeah, got a season ticket for the second half of the season :D. Still some available I think. Was going to message you to see if you were going over for any of them. Any chance of that? (Didn't ask earlier b/c they screwed me around and I only got my actual ticket on Saturday...)

Mugz would be a better keeper though.

In spite of the upsets its going to be mostly big clubs in the last 8. United, City, Chelsea and Arsenal should all go through. If they get a good draw in the QF then it could be all those teams in the semis. Hope not. Be nice to see someone small(er) do a run...

the crime of the season before was appointing alex mcleish.
the crime before that was james milner being sold

the talk of the town is "we're just not good enough for the premier league" we still glow in the dark, and the ground looks amazing when you arrive by train. specially when it's all covered in snow.

"Chelsea Ultra" of the official Chelsea FC Forums has created a petition and in less that 2 days all real Chelsea Fans have been on it

This guy is for real and so are most of the people that signed the petition

Its not some fallicy, its real fans who hate Rafa, and more to the point we hate the atmosphere he has created in our beloved club in less than 2 months

Let's look at the FACTS -

- We lost the World Club Cup to a Corinthians team that we could and should have beaten.

- We went out of the Capital One Cup with barely a whimper.

- We are 9 points further down in the Premier League than we were when Rafael Benitez was employed. Our league form (including losing at home to QPR and away to West Ham) is worse than the blip that got Di Matteo sacked.

- Baffling tactics including like for like swaps for defenders when we are losing and a complete inability to change the game has become the hallmark of our interim manager.

- Rafael Benitez's win % record so far is one of the worst in the Abramovich era, worse than managers who have previously been sacked by the club.

- More importantly than any of the above, the unity has been lost at the football club. A number of our supporters feel disconnected and disenfranchised from the club that they love to the extent that some have stopped going, whilst the atmosphere at home games has declined.



Roman Abramovich has done a number of fantastic things for this football club and has demonstrated his commitment to the supporters from freezing ticket price, changing to the traditional badge, subsidising away travel right through to the obvious on-field investment, resulting in the most successful period in our history. This petition is not to be taken as a sign of ingratitude for the incredible contribution that he has made to our football club. We just want to work with him to get the club that we all love moving together once more in the right direction.

Chelsea FC, end these rumours that there is a possibility that these substandard results and this mutinous atmosphere can continue past the end of this season at the very latest and concentrate your efforts on getting a popular and successful manager who the fans, players and board can all unite behind once again. Every supporter wants the club to be pulling in the same direction, to achieve the success and harmony that we all wish for and that is impossible under a manager who it is clear will never be accepted by the supporters of Chelsea Football Club.

I know what you mean. Some strange changes.

To be honest, I fully agree he's not worked out. I thought it was wrong and unproductive of Chelsea fans to boo him before he even started, but I think you're well justified to criticise him now. I mean, I know you don't like what he said about the balloons and the support, but that was just playing to his audience, the Liverpool supporters at the time. Everyone does that sort of thing (look at Fergie saying he'd never deal with Real Madrid, but he still sold 'em Ronaldo in the end).

Real Madrid is no different to Chelsea, they fired Jupp after he led them to thier first Champions league in more than 30 years !!!
What other Club fires the manager after winning the Champions league?

At least Chelsea did it after 6 months
Real Madrid did it after a week
 
The Madrid example I was thinking of was when they were after Ronaldo, Fergie said "I wouldn't sell them a virus" and slagged them off. But it was all just posturing, you know? Same as Rafa's comments when he was Liverpool manager, I'd say.

Son of Ex West Ham captain Steve Potts . The lad had leukaemia aged 12 as well so i think he will get through this as well .

On another note I feel so bad for Chelsea fans . All the shit they have to put up with . Lord only knows how they manage it . :\
 
He's been out of hospital near a week and doing OK ~ need all the help we can get at the Cottage this evening to stop this gradual slide down the table . . .
 
We do mate , just been listening to BFS saying how important these next 2 games are for us n i agree . We must get points from both fixtures & win one of them as we have been drawing to many games we should have won . Lke the QPR game we battered them it was so one sided , we just didn't have a cuting edge.
I think Nolan looks dead on his feet & should be rested & let Joe play in his position . Still would like Diame to stay as well , i don't think our bad run & his injury are a coincidence .
