The mayans may have invented maths and writing (they were isolated) but I'm pretty sure other civilisations invented them long before... I mean the ancient greeks were thousands of years BC and they had maths and writing.

Have you been peeking or are these pre-Christmas presents, I've no idea what Mrs atm has got me, I had a list of oily bits for my scoot but I think she may have decided to leave them to me to purchase.

All presents purchased here although I think I should keep the Google Nexus I brought for my daughter...mmm shiny thing

Ancient Greeks weren't thousands BC. They were around 800-600. Mayans started in 2000BC.

The point is they developed writing, language and maths in the Americas (they were widespread, not isolated). Their systems of astronomy were phenomenal. Their sums for where the equator is, done with naked eye observation of the sky, were the most accurate of any civilisation and have been proved right in Ecuador by modern GPS.

The Mayans were cool. Probably a bit bloodthirsty mind.

Pre-christmas of sorts. I'm 21 in January and she's 21 in May, and our "real presents" are she's buying me a flash Armani watch and I'm gonna get her a Chloe bag or something. Then both going Ibiza again in July/August cause it's our last year of university. Christmas is a non-event due to the money we're gonna be doshing out later in the year so :)

I don't think it's for want of good E tho SHM, in fact the last E I got was the best I've ever had. Tried it the first time after a year or so layoff and it blew my head off.

I'm the same with oral DMT too - most people claim no tolerance to that but I get a marked tolerance.

I really did overdo it on the methylone back in the day tho - I'm wondering if that has permanently affected my relationship with E.
 
Best wishes to you both for your 21st's SG, my BD is in December after Christmas so it always used to be commuted to NYE, now I'd rather gloss over the day altogether :D

i assume its related to meph? over did meph. was sticking pre ban up my hooter before i properly tried decent MDMA, dunno how it woulda been if i hadnt, probably better

I never said the mayans were not cool.

Greeks started 3000 BC. With the minoans.

I knew someone would freak out about isolated. I'm not going to bother going there. I think you know what I meant.

Here are languages and when they were first written. Mayan comes way down the list. (edit: 250 AD and greek comes in at 1400BC, 1650 years before the Mayans)

Oh, and there's evidence of bloodthirstiness. Though remember most of what we 'know' is derived from highly-biased sources (Christian missionaries, conquistadores, etc.).
 
I doubt using Meph would have any significant long term effect on your subsequent use of MDMA, it definitely had some effect on the Serotonin system but IMO nothing in comparison to MDMA.

I use them in the other order (MDMA first) and still got battered on Meph, silly amounts pre-ban TBH. I really liked the stuff even if it did make me hurl on the comedown

You are being highly selective. Mayan scripts have been found that date back to 400BC. The Minoans were not the Greeks. And the Chinese most likely beat everyone before our Bronze age. Chinese civilisation is outrageously ignored by the West.

And for goodness sake. The Mayans were cool was not a statement aimed at you in any way. :p

I think you're being a dick.

Where is this mayan script dated 400BC? In what way is that more recent than Greek script dated 1400BC?

I should probably have chosen Chinese as an example, their writing does date back to several thousand years BC. Before the Mayans existed. I'm not dissing the Mayans, I just dislike new-age historical revisionism :p
