Ahh i remember those. and had a mastersystem n then a mega drive when i was a lil kiddie, spent so long playing sonic on them
 
I don't know where Knockando is hiding/wanking right now but I remember him requesting a 'Top Producers' chart when I posted RA's Top DJs chart a few weeks ago. They've done a Top 50 best tunes (not by sales) of 2012, which I guess is the closest you'll get to top producers.

Saw in a Firebox mini catalogue today that you can buy bottles of Ron Jeremy rum.
I dread to think what his contribution to the manafacturing process is.

Good tune. It does sound like Burial. I saw Moderat in Serbia a couple years ago, fucking amazing live show.

I have no idea - that's why it gets to me.

It must have made sense to somebody; obviously power supply and TV resolution differences necessitate slight alterations, but why did the Yanks get a complete redesign (and an ugly one at that)?

And why did they revert back to the old Famicom design for the European release? Beside the obvious aesthetic superiorities, of course.

If anyone knows, fill us in. By PM if necessary - I don't think pages of SNES speculation and nostalgia would make good reading for most. Which is a shame in itself.

when I came out of jail for the first time I got back to my parents where whatever I owned had been sent to. And i immediately notice my fucking NES is gone....!WTF!!!!!

After a mate nicked my n64 I gave up on consoles...but im getting the itch again. What do yous recommend?
 
360 or PS3 are pretty much the only options. Don't go near a Wii, they're utter shite.

I'd probably go for a 360, as I imagine they are cheap as fuck right now but the PS3 is a blu-ray player as well, I'd never use it but if you would then that's a big bonus.

Either that or get on eBay, get an N64 & get Goldeneye.

Edit - & F-Zero. Best racing game ever.
 
Cheers for the advice fellas...don't think I will be getting an n64 again though (too many memories!) and I just can't see a second hand, god knows how old machine working for much longer. Tell me why I shouldn't buy a PS2?? They are WOW cheap.

F-ZERO - Best racing game, indeed my friend..............BUT.....................equaled by the legend that was mario kart. But seriously what about a PS2??

And fishing monkey why a dreamcast?
 
Mario Kart is definitely up there, it's probably the only good thing about the Wii tbh.

PS2 is a decent shout for a cheap console. Should still be pretty easy to get really cheap games as well. Get tore into Metal Gear Solid or something (I can't think of any other "classic" PS2 games).

I reckon a 2nd hand N64 would have less chance of breaking than a 2nd hand PS2 though. Less moving parts. No laser for reading CDs. My mate dug an old N64 out his loft a couple of years ago, still worked perfectly.
