You should sign a contract upon meth use stating that you will only use it for a productive activity and never around people.

Unfortunately, an unproductive meth user in the company of people = bad combination.
 
yeah cheers. i've heard that racmic term before.. What's the side effects from that powder style over the crystals? None of us went crazy or too violent off powder or glug even tho some of it was really strong (actually i do recall one guy went nuts and nearly stabbed some people high as a kite on some powder), and no one became addicted as fas s I recall, but it was like nearly 20 odd yrs ago. I compare it to some of my mates who smoke it and possibly inject and they have lost heaps in their lives, GF's/wives, jobs, all their money, health etc..

But your last comment probably sums up why, because they have moved on to smoking it alot of shooting it alot, where as we never did that we just used it very casually and bombed it or snorted.. I guess my nose is pretty fucked tho in one nostril lol, but i put that down to many things, like snorting more than just speed, mdma and getting punched hard in the nose once from a sucker punch/king hit that decked me pretty bad and blood pissed out bad. I actually saw a doctor and told her all of that and she smiled and told me its pretty common and to get some ointment thats like anti biotic and stops it drying out so much, it works pretty good. Hehe. I also sniffed something once (not snorted) as in smelt it, out of something I cant recall what it was right now, but it fucking near killed me, something you should not smell at close range.. hrm ill have to think about that, but it will probably come back to me. Liquid Chlorine maybe? It nearly floored me.
 
Yeah there's two parts to methamphetamine, the dextro and the levo.


Levomethamphetamine is sold OTC as a cold medicine... so basically it would do nothing but add side effects to a meth high.
Dextromethamphetamine is the shit that gets you ridiculously tweaked and releases 500x more reward chemicals than normal


racmic powder has them both, while typically crystal methamphetamine will be refined to the Dexto isomer only

I used to pop a lot of meth pills and never really had a problem... I started snorting and plugging them and soon I realized that shit was getting a hold of me and quit. It wasn't until I smoked it that I realized how evil that drug can become though... my whole body would shake in craving for that drug. It is something that can really take a person over

I hope you test them all, as I know around the place I live in heaps have had meth/speed in them, some times speed bombs do the rounds as E's alot over here. I've tested loads of pills and quite a few have come up with a positive reaction to meth/speed.

i havent done ecstasy in atleast 4 years and dont plan on it again
i saw too many people starting rolling every weekend, some transitioning onto meth

when i saw the connection i decided its not for me
im really only tolerant of weed nowadays
alcohol i accept cause it has a long history in my culture and society and i believe it can be handled responsibly if taught
psychedelics eh they're alright because they are unlike any class and dont lead to addiction
many other drugs i see as precursors to meth coke heroin

Except alcohol lead me into GHB and benzo use.

I completely agree. A thing people do not understand about meth *abusers is that they generally have no sense of humor. Every moment is a "Serious" situation. Making a joke among a group of tweakers is going to result in being scoffed at, if not worse. On top of this, a good amount of abusers have an overbearing sense of Arrogance accompanied by psychotic paranoia. Its not just that they lie and steal constantly, it is that their sense of humanity is gone after a while. Therefore they're easily noticeable among a group of normal people.

*Meth abuse, in my opinion, is anyone exceeding doses of 20mg D-Methamphetamine a day.

People do it because they don't do their research BEFORE trying it. And, if by some miracle they do do their research, they VASTLY overestimate their own intelligence and will power.

Same here in Aus...

What about the faces of alcohol? I'm not sure why alcohol packaging and the bottles or casks etc haven't had such 'in your face' warnings. Instead it is just 'drink responsibly' and small amounts of print or a picture about how much you should drink etc.
 
^ I want to see "faces of sugar".
They could have photos of children with chocolate cake smeared around their mouths, pulling people's hair, kicking innocent dogs, being very loud and hyperactive (maybe a video would work best), as the adults around them wince from the ear-splitting screams and temper tantrums.

but really, this shit's terrifying. it makes glad that (1) i never used meth, thank god. and (2) that i quit using drugs when i did.
i lost a lot of weight and all of the color in my face, not to mention a noticeable amount of muscle tone not only in my body, but in my face as well.

I know this really beautiful girl who smokes meth all the time and also shot heroin a lot... at one point she was so skinny and her jaw kind of got misaligned... she looked so fucking scary and ugly but then she got sober and looked beautiful again. Now she's back on meth and still looks really good. She only really get's scary looking when she gets super, super skinny. It's a neverending cycle and if she continues to use then one day she's not going to look good... she's going to stay ugly.

I have smoked meth a few times and I probably would again but then again maybe not... I really don't like stimulants though. I much rather do heroin... I mean yeah heroin gives me a few pimples here and there but at least I'm not picking my face to shit...
 
I dont buy this faces of meth stuff. I understand that it may happen, but its also a part of the media's scare tactics campaign against drugs.
