Cheese is really old now. It's ok IMO. The Blue Cheese at Barney's was beautiful. A lot of QLD chicks were going off about the Blue Cheese a few weeks ago in Barney's.

Big Buddha, (the developer of Cheese), do really good work though. They won best product and best booth at the Harvest Festival. I got some Big Buddha Cheese seeds from the Buddha man himself and when I told him they were going home to Australia he gave me heaps more! I gave them to one of my Aussie mates over there. I have no idea what he did with them.

Jack Herer won the Cannabis Cup in 1995 so it is a very old but reliable strain. It is still getting around Amsterdam as one of the cheaper strains. Jack Herer, (the father of hemp), is Northern Lights #5 X Skunk #1 x Haze
 
Huh, 1995, that's a long time ago. I think I would have been smoking it maybe 4-5 years later than that. Its hard for me to remember back when I smoked weed for breakfast, lunch and tea.

It's pretty much impossible for me to get special strain weed these days. Wish there was more of a market for it where I'm from.
 
I am personally a fan of Cheese, have smoked better Cheese in West London than I picked up in Amsterdam though. Blue Cheese is nice but I think I got more stoned off of standard BBCheese personally.

Jack Herer is a really nice strain ime and definately one of the more worthwhile cheaper strains to purchase. You can get a lot of nice bud in Amsterdam but most places you will pay a pretty penny for it, Jack Herer seems pretty consistently quality for a mid range choice and if anyone was there on a budget I would reccomend it. There is a reason it is still around in relative abundance 17 years later...

@ Quixote, it is pretty rare that I actually come across proper brand name weed but it does happen. I do notice a variety in the bud I purchase though, in terms of appearance, smell, taste and effects, it just is all sold as weed rather than Sour Diesel and Bubba Kush or whatever. I do wish that growers and sellers made more of an effort in this sense, I mean I think strains can definately be over hyped but I just find it nice to know what I am smoking. Most other places I have visited it is quite common to find strain named weed but in Australia it is definately uncommon in any circle I have moved in.
 
I am not fussed on strains. If it tastes good & gets me ripped then that is all that matters in my eyes.

I am new here but what is with the dicksizing in the cannabis thread on "how much do you smoke"? All I see is "I smoke an oz a week" "yeah a 1/4 every day" "well I rip a 1/4 lb every month". Then some prick comes out & says "Oh no I smoke an oz a week with my GF & mates". All I think is fuck off wanker. At my heaviest I was smoking a 1/2 a week to myself & only to myself so I can't talk but I certainly am not puffing my chest with pride. It is actually pretty sad if you need to smoke that much if your smoke is any good.

Well i found out yesterday it's not actually him soo much but his girlfriend, she actually went to rehab to get off the gear. I really hope he can get through this tough time as i still see a good kind soul in him. Can't give up just yet. Either way its time for him to get his act together.

On another like note there is really light bud going around at the moment, 3-5 cones has u so zonked on the couch which it impossible to keep ur eyes open haha

That sucks. He will more than likely be brain washed by his partner then.

You should only need 1 cone at the most for 8 hours of power with Aussie Chronic. Smoking that much is bad for your health.

*That is coming a huge hypocrite who maintained Centurion level for years :)
 
Yeah, smoking huge quantities of weed is certainly nothing to be proud of. I vape a 1/2 every 5 days or so (off work ATM) and the buzz I get rarely lasts more than 20mins, even with the excellent quality product that has appeared in the last month or so. When I first got my Volcano, I would be obliterated for a good four hours.

I just bought a new digital and I race my old digital against my new one. Do you get the really bad heartburn and have to take antacids? I used to get that as the vapour is a harsh irritant on the throat.

I make custom 8 foot long bags and just sit on the couch for hours :)

Make custom bags out of the original ones. Just don't cut them and make a huge 8 footer.

Don't mess with anything but the Easy valve either. The Solid Valve is annoying.
 
Vulcanos are great but extreme Q IMO is better. They have bags, whips and the best thing about it a remote control:) Price comparison: well there is none as the extreme q sells for less than a quarter of the price as vulcanos do. I highly recommend them. On the side note people are complaining that they are running dry and smoikng res (yuck).

Invest in a vaporizer and with the already vaped buds make some hash. Obviously itll be nothing like primo bubble hash made from high sativa buds. It will be way more on the indica side with plenty of CBD's etc. There are plenty of teks around. U could always vape AVB or roll huge ass joints which will get u completely smashed:) U can vape teh same stuff plenty of times actually just by increasing the temps each time u vaporize.

They can't survive a fall down the stairs though like the quality German engineering. I am biased as I am German :) I have used a 5 year old Volcano that was still going as hard as it was the day it was purchased. And that was at Barney's!

If you find you are getting more of an Indica high then do your first run at 157 degrees celsius as that is the melting point of THC. Then do your second run between 180-200 degrees depending on the strain. I have found that Sativa Dominant hybrids vape better at 190-200 whereas Indica dominant hybrids vape better at 180 degrees celsius.

Of course Sally D is always at 230 degrees celsius in countries where it is still legal.
 
Yup thats true man, u usually do get what u pay for although for an all rounder it performs extremely well thats why I mentioned it and it rated it so highly. The Vulcanos are no doubt one of the best ones out there but price comparison its not so great but all good if u have the money to fork out. Im all about german technology as well (I love my beautiful my BMW:) And yep the best thing is that u can control the temp to give u different highs. High temps at night time and low temps during the day times is my preference, most vaporers would know why:)

You'll find that you get the best results with pure Sativas in the morning, Sativa dominant hybrids for morning tea, Lunch time 50/50 hybrids, Indica dominant hybrids for the afternoon and pure Indica's and Hashish for Evening.
 
Yup thats the exact way I used to do it, I dont vape or smoke anymore, been clean for a year now but when I did Id prefer to have the indica strains at late night as we all know its very couch locking and all u want to do is sleep LOL I absolutely love hash (bubble hash) from a very strong sativa strain late nights. I have trouble sleeping on it sometimes though.

The thing is not all people have the luxury to hunt around and obtain all the strains that they like unless u know home growers. There were some beautiful strains a year ago when I was right into it. Those nice long buds full of crystals, hairy that smelt pungent lemon with a hint of vomit smell (sorry cant describe it better) LOL that was so over powering that a brief opening of the baggie would release the scent which could be smelt for a while even after the baggie was closed ahhh Good times.

When purchasing a good idea is if u know ur strain is a pure or nearly pure indica then u can mix it with a hybrid or a more sativa dominant to get the desired effects. Reason being I personally dont liek being too sleepy / tired during the day time if I have shit to do. Do u guys find that mixing different kinds of buds of the same quantity gets u more stoned than just using one type with the same quantity?
