Sounds fucking lovely; Lidl is brilliant for meat, weirdly. Get all mine from there unless I can be arsed to walk the extra two mile round trip to the butchers.

Your birthday, Mr S? Also massively jealous, was just thinking earlier I could murder a roast dinner. Gonna have to get one done for our pre-xmas xmas dinner

Aye. B'day boy I, Snolls. Dinner was nice surprise but not so sure about me prezzy. Got a large box mostly containing SlimFast milkshakes and veg Cup-A-Soups. Also has banana Nesquik powder and a large jar of Marmite. And odd concoction to be sure and with a definite whiff of a hint or two being dropped :D

Haha, charming ;) and happy birthday! I'll swap ya the SlimFast for cider, could probably do with some myself 8( Right after I've cooked everything in the house for dinner, obviously

Stroopwafel Rotsjes. From box of somewhat eccentric foodstuffs presented earlier. Chocolate coated caramel wafer chunks, apparently. Really rather tasty and look like...

I'm having these for lunch today, I quite like nong shim noodles, but haven't tried this flavour before. Never tried real kimchi either so not sure what I'm letting myself in for.

^WOW Kimchi instant noodles. That's awesome, describe them after you eat them, the photo on the packaging looks good.

I'm not too fond of kimchi though, find it quite hard to digest, wouldn't mind trying those though.
 
Homemade BLT.

Two thick-cut slices of homemade seedy Grannery bread. 4 slices of smoked streaky bacon (local butchers).
Baby leaf / iceberg lettuce. Sliced baby plum tomatoes reduced with sugar/balsamic v/lee and perrins.
Shavings of extra mature cheddar, girkins.
Shitloads of mayo, a smear of wholegrain mustard, freshly ground pepper.

Damn, I could eat that mofo again.

Can anyone think of any fitting additions?

Sometimes less is more. Ditch the cheese, the sugar ( 8( ) and the lee & perrins. And the vinegar. Are you trying to disguise the taste of the bacon?

The little fucker just came back from the sweets aisle while I was in the queue in the Co-Op and asked if we could have them...I just assumed a quid or so...

Heads will roll.
 
I'm cooking a pork shoulder, leek, cider and apple casserole, and having it with jacket potatoes...winter food, bit fucking cold again today.
 
those jelly beans are the knock off version of the originals, which are tons better, with tons more flavours (they do lots of different ranges, as well as a 50 generics range
