just made and ate the mother of steak baguettes. 300g of Rump steak from Lidl. Been very very impressed with steaks from Aldi and Lidl recently and really like rump when tender.
Cooked on a cast iron skillet medium rare, caramelised onions, blackened peppers, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes with some luxury coleslaw on a freshly baked baguette.
Tasted fucking magnificent.
Sounds fucking lovely; Lidl is brilliant for meat, weirdly. Get all mine from there unless I can be arsed to walk the extra two mile round trip to the butchers.
