I already have one very solid cyberstalking case in the making against a certain ex-member of this forum. I don't have the time or energy to pursue another, or indeed any petty conflicts.

I've got a lotta time for Prof Cox actually. Can see how'd he get up the noses of many though. Seriously doubt he'd get the Sky at Night gig anyway. Not unless they have a pretty major overhaul of the whole concept of the programme anyway. A massive part of the enduring charm of the show is how cheap, low-tech and homemade (literally homemade the last several years) it is.

Suppose it depends whether the Beeb decide to try to do a complete makeover and "rebrand" it in more populist mould. Not necessarily a totally horrid idea - always good to have some appeal to younger folk who may be inspired for life as so many of us have been who grew up with it. On t'other hand, it just wouldn't be the same thing at all so kinda pointless - may as well just do a completely new show and let Sky at Night die with dignity. None of the other regulars on it have enough charisma to carry the whole show (or even their own segments tbh) and Prof Cox would certainly boost the viewing figures amongst the yoofdom in particular. Isn't he a particle physicist rather than an astronomer though?

Cox is alright, he talks too slow though, feed the fucker some pre ban meph and get him chatting away

There are several examples I could furnish you with, mostly from the posts I reported which identify and target me specifically by name, though I'd rather my fellow staff cast an eye over them, and it would ultimately only drag us back into contact with each other. Which I (and presumably your good self) am not keen to pursue.

So yeah - ignore? Seems like the best policy.

We sure do, and guess what? It's been done to death, yet the horse is still being flogged. I think it was you Farmaz, who was complaining about being judged for being overly aggressive and whatnot the other day, and you blamed it on being on a psych bender for three days or whatever, but you're judging Sam in exactly the same way. It's boring and tedious.

Sam's a mod, and he's great at not holding grudges, and from what I see of him here he's always been able to move on and let things go regularly with many people. He didn't rise to your goading of him last night once, despite there being multiple posts of yours trying to get him to bite.

He's still got a job to do here in terms of moderating, so it's not like he can ignore you completely tho, and the sooner you come to terms with that the better it'll be for your experience here. If you're unable to come to terms with Sam's position, it'll just lead you down the same path MSB took, and we all know where that path ends.

also, I do not wish to have kids, but I'd make an exception for Brian Cox ... the guy is awesome

How on earth can Brian cox do it for you Marmz :D He wouldnt ask you to get topless and wear suspenders so he could wank for you while lying on his back in a rowing boat. I don't think he'd be much fun at all and his smile in the morning would in time end up making me want to punch him in the head and i'm not a violent person.

I'm very flaw-abiding irl tho, and can get over all maner of quirks and foibles when it comes to finding other people attractive. I'll probably find his little mouth tic quite sexy really .. will check for it next time I put on the Cox pron
