Erm yes ok 8)

lets deal in facts for a moment here.

1) only ever did 1 corpse paint series of pics unlike most other bands
2) has been out of jail for several years hence why he has done Belus, Faller & Umskiptar albums & also wrote Sorcery And Religion In Ancient Scandinavia which I just finished reading
3) the murder of Øystein Aarseth was down to several things, the main point was he had said he wanted to make a snuff film with Varg as the main star, the murder was unplaned & was done in the heat of the moment. Øystein was all mouth in the N.B.M scene & only burned down 1 church, it was Varg that had ALL the TNT & guns.

Why you think the N.B.M scene is based around "the garish makeup and upside down crosses" is kind of stupid. I admit there was a small section of people that did that for media hype etc but when you look at Varg's story you will see he turned his back on the Norwegian scene which you are talking about years ago, since the release of Filosofem said man does not even class the music as Black metal.

true facts : On average an adult female brain weighs around 1245 g and that of an adult male around 1375 g.

explains a lot.

It must have been glorious back in the 60s when nothing 'killed' you or 'gave you cancer', everyone took as much of everything as they could with no thought for the consequences since they hadn't been discovered yet. Nowadays everyone is so worried about the health implications of every little thing they put in their body, forgetting the fact that the human body is a remarkable piece of machinery that can take untold levels of abuse. Seems a shame to let all that abuse potential go to waste.

Dunno man, inhaling smoke is a pretty bad idea and they were right on the money with that one.

So that's what they mean when they say size doesn't matter.

Incidentally, Einstein's brain weighed less than the average female brain so the "it's not wot you got, it's how you use it" idea does perhaps have some credibility.

Always one of my favorite programs, really made me take an interest in science as a kid , Not too many regrets in life here, but one of them is that I didnt do Physics as my degree instead of Economics. Would have been a far more enjoyable couple of years and would probably have ended up in the same field of work anyways.

All kids want to be astronauts , but Patrick went further than that, he made space amazing. Even got me subscribing to "Astronomy" and "Scientific American" magazines as a kid . :)

Really going to be missed, especially when it seems we might get the Narcassitic Brian Cox as a replacement

Heard that Gary Oldman is really into Astronomy, maybe they should rotate the hosts like they do on " Have I got News for you "

Desspite the fact he was a bit of a right-winger I struggled to feel anything but deep respect and affecton for the guy.

Another one gone. Rest in peace indeed.

Let's hope the sex scandals don't start emerging in the next week or so.

LOL I wont lie, that was one of my initial thoughts as well.

Just didnt want to pollute the memory of a guy who seemed genuinly passionate about his work and bought joy to millions
