Costas been on our local hi street for about 2 years and the other week the independent bakery/coffee shop thats been there all my life and where my friend had a saturday job just closed. She always brought home cream buns and cakes so I liked her a lot.
Theres also a new Aldi so a small place now has Budgens, aldi waitrose, tesco and soon to be Sainsburys. They didn't stand a chance. Its always heaving inside and outside Costa, I don't understand it. i always support the independent if I can. At least Costas payed tax.

Sorry to hear you have to go to hospital brimz, just a brief visit I hope.

morning all <3

Ceres Where Roughly ?

yeah Ceres, whereabouts? ;p

[edit]

Good Luck with yer toe op brimzini ... can't imagine the pain of ingrown toe things nagging at you all the time. I've had fuckloads of broken toes but never an ingrown toenail. I've seen various pics of them online tho and they aren't for the fainthearted.

It's a bit like this one , I just looked at the pics for - Involuted Toenails & felt sick so i'll spare you all that.

Mine got infected last weekend so i can't wait to be rid of it .

It is hereditary & is in no way anything to do with poor hygeine . I have lovely sexy feet ( so i've been told ) , n they will be even more sexy when this nail is sorted

Feet Fetish anyone ?

Hope the toe op goes well, Brimz. I used to get them a lot around the age of 12-14 and had loads of ops, probably too many, to correct them. When they get pus-riddled they sure do get pus-riddled. That bandage is going to stink when it comes off 8(

edit: Oh, it seems that involuted and ingrown are different. Mine were ingrown.

Oh, the supermarkets have made their presence felt round our way, don't get me wrong. And a lot of the more 'mainstream' students would rather eat crap from Subway than cross the road and sample Manchester's finest falafel burger.

I think it's only because there's a big (this sounds pretentious) 'bohemian' community that these local places are still in business at all. Although there's still a more traditional eatery frequented by the older crowd that's doing very well.

So Talking about Coffee sort of .

What sort of knob actually goes in to Starbucks ?

I
i have only ever been in a few times to buy a strawberrys and cream milkshake type thing. I dont drink coffee, but what i did noticed was an unusually large amount of folk with mac-books. WTF is that about. Was in one in Glasgow and everyone with a laptop had a mac. (four out of four folk)

Do they have them for loan whilst you drink your drink or something.

Starbucks is a well known magnet for the wanker types who buy iPads and Macbooks

got so much work done today, my workspace looks like new. and I haven't even touched the amps. There's something nice about being stuck in the middle of nowhere in the snow listening to loud music while high on drugs and building my laboratory.

yeah. ive just been clearing a years worth of electronic and lab gear off my desks to make space for new gear.

got the spring cleaning bug in mid winter.

got like 4 desks and still not enough desk.

afternoon folks.

I am through with drugs I swer to god. Came around yesterday sitting in my rubbish bags with my phone in the sink & lost 10grams of tobacco again. fucking pcp is horrible stuff & I am getting these weird muscle shaking effects like a mild fit in my legs the muscle vibrates 100's of times a minute & makes my whole lower body shake.

Got to lay off it for a while, it's really pissing me off.

Man those pcp analogues can be quite bad, not really forgiving, both mentally and phisically
