I'm just going now BHM,but will say hi anyway mate and yes I agree with you on the meters as I'm on one of them also.
Later mate.

Good afternoon Monsta, you missed morning by just over 2 & half hours mate, but who's counting eh?
Just gonna have a nice hot cuppa tea and then it's time to watch 'Ted' on DVD which I'm looking forward to seeing.
Enjoy your Sunday afternoons and Sunday dinners etc.
Adios amigos.

Easy now max :)
Hehe, aye - It can be morning for me day, noon and night ;)
Was thinking of giving "Ted" a watch myself.... Might do if I can't even feel the motivation to do anything (likely today).
I've been living in the knowledge that it was Saturday til that post... {0.o}

Have a good un!

I like Jamie Oliver but do you think his books might be too much for a total novice.

I hate the fucker but apparently his Ministry Of Food book is a pretty good beginner's guide... alternatively Delia's books are meant to be excellent for explaining basic techniques. Her way of doing poached eggs changed my life for the better (but I won't go into it because MM will tell me it's the wrong way, that I'm a clueless cock and that I should be killed for even suggesting it :D) I don't really go for cookbooks myself, though, lots of good recipes on the web (eg the bbc good food site: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/ )

I only really started cooking five years ago... go through patches of eating pure shit but when I get round to it I really love cooking, it straightens my mind out and is so satisfying. I do a lot of big one pot things like chillis and curries and really love having something like that in the fridge for a couple of days, works out cheap for really nice food once you have an idea what you're up to.

If you're just setting out don't try to run before you can walk, doing a couple of stews, chillis or whatever will teach you a lot quite fast which you can apply to more complex things later as you get a feel for it... it is a real 'get a feel for it' type art.

What, Jamie Oliver? He just does my head in. Big fat tongue, irritatingly chipper. He has done a lot for food in this country and I respect his involvement with schools and young people and all that, he's just a FILP (Face I'd Like to Punch).

I agree, he actually does some pretty good food, a lot better than a lot of the less annoying TV chefs.

But Christ I'd love to set my fucking dog on him.

But I bet you'd love to be let loose on Nigella Lawson's buns ;)
... Feel that I just temporarily dipped into the universe of a Carry On film....

This building and decorating is doing my fucking head in! Plus it's doing the whole family's in too, so there's many a short fuses and large amounts of explosives 8(

But I bet you'd love to be let loose on Nigella Lawson's buns ;)

No, she does nothing for me,her cookery or her faux-seductiveness. Bit big for me too. She's a fine looking woman for her age, but not my sort of thing.

But yeah, he's done a lot for what children put in their mouths. Like Jimmy Savile.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or not. Very clever though SHM =D

I'd pay to see a MMA cage fight or whatever those fights the Scots all love are called, anyway, I'd pay to see a death match between Jamie, Nigella, Worral-Thompson, Ainsley Harriet, those two bellends the fabulous Baker Boys or whatever they're called, and theres probably a few others could be included. EDIT>>>>I'd probably stick Heston in there too, a fucking brilliant cook, incredible thinker when it comes to food, his restaurant looks fantastic, but he deserves to go in there for his latest show...

Last man/woman standing gets set upon by my dog.

In 2008 celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson recommended Henbane as a "tasty addition to salads" in the August 2008 issue of Healthy and Organic Living magazine. He subsequently said that he had made an error, confusing the herb with Fat Hen, a member of the spinach family. He apologized, and the magazine sent subscribers an urgent message stating that Henbane "is a very toxic plant and should never be eaten."

lol. worral thompson makes me want to punch him aswell, hes as bad as jamie oliver.

Worral Thompson is worse then Oliver, at least Oliver can cook.

Oh, that bloke who did a program on making desserts or something, Sweet something, he can get in the ring too.

nigella makes me want to punch her

I'm stalking you today Ceres

Nigella is a cunt. A few Christmases ago we had the family, seventeen of them, all come to us for dinner. For the turkey, for which I'd paid a fortune for top nosh local organic wonderness, the idiots decided they MUST follow Nigella's ideas because they'd all just bought her latest book for Xmas. I protested the cooking time was too low and too short and was waved aside. Result? One top nosh local organic undercooked piece of shit.

She's also Nigel Lawson's daughter. Cow.

Fantastic pair of tits, however.
