is there anyway to tell by looks as to what may be in an extasy pill?

i have always wondered if colors actually have something to do with whats in them, ive heard ppl say to stay away from red but why?
 
Absolutely not.


A pill presser can add any dye or stamp to any pill he wishes, the appearance of a pill has no indication of the contents.


As NBB said, the only way to know what you have is to buy a Reagent Testing kit. They are cheap, only $25 from dancesafe.org
 
thanx bro, so if ppl are all like stay away from these ones or those ones just because of the color and not from their experience should i worry?

The one from dancesafe gives you like 50-100 uses, from EZ test you only get one or two.. that's why I recommend dancesafe.

If someone tells you to stay away from a pill, I wouldn't take it at all. But if they are telling you to stay away just because it's red... well, you might want to disregard that lol.

Chances are all the pills around you are fake though, if your in America. An extremely large amount of pills in the US are piperazines (nastiest drugs alive..) or basically the same chemicals you will find in bath salts. That's why it's so important to have the test kit, as you need to be able to know if it's actual MDMA or some bunk ass shit that's going to have you throwing up foam all night
 
Get a test kit, if you don't feel like shelling out the money for a regent kit just get the marquis it'll tell you if its MDXX but not much else. Or you can move to Chicago and enjoy pure unadulterated mints.... jk If you want to enjoy MDMA for a long time test your drugs, dose appropriately and space out your rolls (1 month minimum).

thanx dude, i appreciate that. now mdxx stands for mdma right? do these tests tell you if there is alot or a little do you know?
 
MDxx is a way of saying all those related substances in one go. Replace the XX like a variable in math

MDMA, MDA and MDEA are usually the only drugs referred to by that name. MDA and MDE are pretty fucking rare though, so if your test kit reacts black you can bet it's MDMA



The speed of the reaction can give you an idea of the strength of pills, but with "molly" or crystal MDMA there's really no chance. For the most part though, no reagent tests can't tell the purity, only what substance is in the pill.
 
Check the pill on pillreport.com. There is no guarantee your pill is a genuine press though which is why you need to test them. Colour has no bearing on quality.

Wow. Well done, you always read on bluelight that you can't tell what in a pill by the color, consistency, etc. But you never see a nice visual example, and for that I applaud you.
 
you seem to be the law around here. i would usually blindly follow your arrogant overly assertive opinion but you have posted links to shitty colourful pills not boxes..thanks for taking the time to do that though im not sure why you did? what do the pills have in common its not colour can you join the dots please o knowledgeable one?

why didnt you post a link to a bigger redder box? im confused..

Please tell me you're being sarcastic....

If not then I feel that maybe a proper explaination is acceptable, as I believe Folley was showing examples of how any colour of pills can be shitty, not just one specific colour being better than another and so on and so forth.

I was showing that every color of pill can be equally disgusting. I know you were only joking, I was making a point aside to that



I could show the same pill with the same contents that is just dyed a different color, also showing that the color of a pill means nothing and a pill presser can easily switch out some pill dye... but I think that point has been well driven home already in this thread
