I live in a part of the UK where people have a strong accent & I am very proud of the way I sound. The sub section I live in is different to the Birmingham accent too "Ow's bid ya ar wench, I ay sid ya it time en it" for example.
Everywhere I go these days I hear people taking on this monotone, Made in Chelsea, half American half Eton educated foul drone.
I find it really sad when people all want to sound the same tbh, as harsh as some accents are it is good to hear a different change from what you hear every day.
I am just waiting till I run into Part time crack head & he sounds like some Oxford university Tory, that would just about kill me with laughing.
Anyone else noticed the death of the accent?..........
And any middle class people on here that have taken on this Made in Chelsea accent, please stop it. You aint fooling anyone with that fake way you speak, hang your head in shame.
